Flirtatious (Draco Malfoy FanFic)

(Ep 1) Day 1 at the Manor

I finally arrived at the Manor. I was going to be their maid, which means I do the cooking and all the cleaning. I meet Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy at the door and they greet me inside. Their son, who seems to be my age, comes walking down stairs to help me move my things. "Hello, I'm Maddie." I say. "I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy." he says as he extends his hand. As our hands touch I instantly get butterflies. He helps me carry my things up the stairs, we look at each other trying to break the awkward tension. My room was just past Draco's, so when we passed his room a strong scent of cologne with hints of peppermint and green apple. He leaves and I start to unpack my bags I hear a knock on my door.

"Oh hello Mrs. Malfoy! Can I help you with anything?" I ask while folding my clothes. "Um yea there is actually if you don't mind!" she tells me. We head down stairs to the kitchen and prepare dinner and I set the table. She pulls me aside and asks me, "So Draco's birthday is coming up and I don't know what to get him. Can you help me?" I think about it for a long, hard, minute and finally spit something out. "What about a puppy? Since Dobby, you know..." She smiled and said "Perfect! We will go tomorrow afternoon!" I finish setting up the table and Mrs. Malfoy calls Draco down to eat. As we are sitting at the table there is hardly a conversation, until Mrs. Malfoy speaks to me. "So Maddie, how are your parents?" she asks. "My parents..uh my mom is in Azkban and I never met my father, or at least I don't remember him.." I tell her as I'm looking down and continued eating.

After everyone finished I collected all the plates and washed them and baked some cookies. Draco coming downstairs with a book. He smirks and grabs a cookie and sits down on a comfortable looking chair and starts reading. I go up to my room to shower and change into my pajamas, which was just a cropped shirts with shorts with socks, and I head downstairs. I lean on the couch next to Draco and go to ask him a question before he stuck his hand up telling me to wait for him to finish the page to what he seems to be reading a romance novel. "Can I help you Maddie?" he says in a soft, sleepish voice. "Uh yea do you know where your mom is, I'm getting ready to go to bed?" I ask him. "She just told me she was going to shower." he says. I tell him goodnight and start walking back before he comes by my side and walks me to my room. "Good night Draco :)" I said smiling. "Goodnight...Maddie." he says as he gives my shoulder and watching my door close slowly.
