𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍 as we flew down the long and dusty road, the west gates slowly coming into view. A loud crash echoed from the distance, but neither boys heard it. I glanced back, trying to figure out what could've caused it, but I came up empty.
"Okay, that it," Zach said, snapping me out of my thoughts. I leaned back in my seat as the wind blew my hair behind me. "We're safe now," He finished as my eyes flickered to the rearview mirror.
Expecting to only see trees, my heart stopped. Flying towards us was a pack of Pterodactyl's, all screeching loudly as they came closer and closer by the second.
"Go, go!" Gray exclaimed, seeing what I saw in the mirror. Zach took a glance in the mirror before slamming his foot on the gas pedal.
"Oh shit!" He exclaimed, on hand on the gearshift. We flew forwards, picking up speed as we drove through the thicket of branchy trees.
Bouncing up and down in our seats, we soared over rocks and tree branches, but none of those slowed us down. "Hey!" I screamed loudly as I noticed two guards by the gates.
"Help!" Zach continued.
"Open the gate!" Gray hollered as he waved his hand back and forth, trying to catch their attention. "Let us in!" He added as Zach honked the horn repeatedly.
"Come on!" I bellowed, joining Gray as we waved our hands. "Let us in!" I could see their head move up towards the Pterodactyl's as they screeched loudly.
The gate slid open and we quickly drove through it, knowing that we would have to lose the jeep soon. Workers scrambled around us as we hopped out of the car. Zach offered me a hand and I gratefully took it.
"Due to a containment anomaly, all guests must take shelter immediately," A female voice said over the announcing systems. I looked towards Zach and Gray, and they had the same amount of fear in their eyes as I did.
"Due to a containment anomaly, all guests must take shelter immediately," The voice repeated once again. The next thing I could hear were sirens blaring loudly, making me panic even more.
"Y/n," Zach called, making me rush towards him and his brother.
"All units, take a position on the boardwalk. Use liquid tranquillizers. Do not fire live ammunition," A voice said from a walkie-talkie of a nearby ACU officer. He ran past me, gun in hand, and rounded the corner.
"This is bad, this is very bad," I cried to Zach as we pushed past people, attempting to make it inside the park. "Zara!" I exclaimed as she stopped next to us, phone and bag in hand.
"We need to get to your aunt," She told us, her British accent filling with panic.
Screams filled the park, young kids, parents, even security guards.
