A request from Tanda_Takeo!

Back in school and I haven't felt so stressed in months. Expect quite a few spelling errors because of how long this is and if so, comment where it is and ill fix it immediately! I just want to say thank you to my girlfriend for proofreading this and thank you, everyone else so much for over 3k views?! I only made this book for fun and yeah, I didn't expect it to be like this...

"Welcome to lunar latte coffee house! We hope you enjoy your stay!" When entering, you could hear soft voices from every angle of the shop. They aren't loud, but they aren't quiet either. This is a place where you can relax. A place where you don't have to worry about what people think of you, where you don't have to worry about being accepted. Somewhere where you can put your mind at ease after a long and tiring day. The scent of the coffee shop was of old books and coffee. It was quite a calming and enchanting scent. A young-looking boy walked through the entrance, his height of 5'7. His hair somewhat damp from the rain outside, yet it dried quickly, taking into account the warm, soothing temperature inside the shop. His tired and stressed expression grew calmer as he took in more of his tranquil surroundings. He was wearing an old-fashioned coat you would see detectives wearing in films, undeniably too big for him, yet his serious and reassuring aura almost complimented him well with the coat. Considering the number of people in the coffee shop, it felt as if it was empty. Like it was you, and you only waiting for a coffee. But this feeling of emptiness was comforting rather than unsettling. The boy joined the queue for the shop. A surprising less number of people in line than he expected there to be of the evening. Soon enough, he was at the front of the queue. A small yet cheerful voice snapped him out of his thoughts. "Good evening! What can I get you today?" The boy looked down to see another boy round his age. Although, the surprising height difference made it difficult to tell. His hair was naturally curled at the ends. It was dark purple with light highlights at the tips of the curls. It's fluffy look giving it more of a bounce and it made it seem well taken care of. The taller boy was in awe of the smaller working at the shop.

"Is everything okay?" This snapped the taller out of his daydream and back into reality.

"Ah- yes! I d-do apologise. M-may I have a black coffee p-please and this?" He passed a ready-made ham sandwich. His anxiety was getting the better of him, yet he tried to compose himself.

"Sure! That'll be ¥680 then please!" (This is about £4.99) The taller boy handed the other boy the money.

"Can I have your name?"

The taller flushed at the question despite how he only knew it was to write his name on the cup, "I-it's Shuichi."

"Cute name! I'll get your coffee out to you as soon as possible!" Shuichi got embarrassed at the compliment. He stood near the side of the shop, waiting for his coffee and holding his packet of sandwiches. He took his phone out and looked on social media to pass the time. Nothing exactly interesting. He just wanted to make himself look occupied, to seem less awkward.

"Black coffee for Shuichi!" Shuichi placed his phone in his pocket and walked towards the collection point to see the same small boy holding his black coffee out.

"T-thank you! uh... c-can I get your n-name? If y-you don't mind that is..!"

"Nishishi~ Name's Kokichi, I hope to see you around soon cutie~" The small boy named Kokichi winked at Shuichi and turned away to carry on with his job. This left Shuichi astounded but also confused about how to react. He made his way out of the shop and then returned home. His home being his uncle's house, but he was rarely ever home because of detective work across the country. Rather than having Shuichi's detective work on his mind, all he could think about is the short purple haired barista boy. 'Is he new? Does he work full-time? Is he my age? Does he like coffee? Is he in school still? He was kinda cute... No! Stop, you barely know anything about him, Shuichi..!' After a while, Shuichi gave up on trying to silence his brain and went to bed. Be that as it may, his mind was still full with the thoughts of the barista boy as he tried to fall asleep.
