Chapter 18

A few days later

Inojin was sitting in a beautiful courtyard in Madrid Spains most famous coffee shop. He was enjoying the spring day drinking coffee and drawing anything nearby that inspired him.

The team was given a few weeks off after the difficult mission.

Just as he was taking a sip of his coffee he noticed a beautiful woman walk in laughing with some friends as they took a table not far from his. He noticed her long brown wavy hair, light tan skin that complimented her simple blue dress.

The blonde was inspired and his hands went to work, sketching the beautiful figure in front of him.

He was so focused he didn't notice her staring back at him with bright, honey-brown eyes. She smiled at him and it was as if everything he knew about love before flew out the window. He knew it, he felt it..... she was the one.

It didn't take long for the woman to leave her friends and sit with the strange man.

"Hello," she said in an angelic voice. "Can I see what you are drawing?"

Inojin smiled holding the sketchbook close to him "what is your name?" he asked smoothly causing her to blush.

"Isabella"

The blonde did one last thing to the artwork before ripping the paper out of his sketchbook and handing it to a woman. "I am Inojin"

She gasped in awe of the flawless portrait of her surrounded by colorful flowers. Then she saw in writing at the bottom 'The beautiful Isabella'

The Spaniard women look back at the man blushing at his compliment "How long will you be in Madrid for?"

"A few weeks" he responded back not breaking eye contact.

She then gestured to see his sketchbook and he gave it to her with no issue. She started to draw something then quickly handed it back to him.

He laughed at the child-like drawing of two stick figures holding hands. Then right under it was what looked to be a line of numbers.

"My phone number is in there" she then looked over to see her friends calling for her as they were about to leave. She gets up and smiles at the blonde "if you are free tonight.. give me a call, Inojin"

He couldn't keep his eye off her as she took leave "wow, I think I'm in love." he said lightly.

Chocho and Shinki walk into the quiet restaurant with their hands intertwined.

She looks around to see two familiar figures already seated for a table of four.

"Mom, Dad," she says with excitement walking over to them with Shinkis hand still interlocked with hers.

The older couple gets up to greet the two with smiles on their faces.

"Mom, Dad," she says lightly "This is Shinki.. my boyfriend."

Shinki bowed with a serious face at her parents "It is nice to meet you both"

"Oh, no need to be formal!" the big man said coming around the table hitting the young man on the back "Nice to finally get to meet a boyfriend of Chochos!"

Chochos mother smiled at the young man "She is always so secretive with us about who she is dating, you know you are the first man she has introduced us to."

Shinki looked at Chocho who had a light tent of pink on her face. She was regretting it all now but Shinki was beyond happy to know he was something more to her.
