Chapter 38: Wait
"Here we are!" Jordan said as he got out of the airplane and taking a deep breath because we are already here in the Philippines.
"Stop babe, and go down already." I reminded the reason why he chuckled and wore his sunglasses. As we go down, I can feel happiness because, after three years of living in New York, I'm finally here in the Philippines.
I'm living with my boyfriend that will also become my husband.
I left out a sigh and saw the man getting inside the car to drive us already. I looked out the window and saw the airport that we landed, I can't believe that I came back and missed the happenings here in the Philippines, but I think I'm ready to face the new door of my life.
"Hey," Jordan called me and caressed my hand again the reason why he got my attention. My brows furrowed and waiting on what he's planning to say to me, but I saw him smiling, and that made me more confused.
"What? Is there a problem?" I asked him, but he didn't take my question seriously and laughed at me. Why is he laughing? Is he tripping on me again? I can't stop raising a brow because he's laughing without a reason and I'm sometimes irritated when he's doing that.
"Why are you laughing, Jordan? Is there something wrong with my face or you're just crazy laughing on nothing?" I asked with sarcasm on my tone and I saw him clenching his jaw.
"I'm not going to deny it, but I miss this, I miss this place where I started my modeling career." nawala na ang pag-kaiirita sa aking mukha at napalitan ito ng kaunting saya dahil sa nandito na kami ngayon sa Pilipinas upang mag-simula ng bagong buhay.
Ano naman kaya ang aasahan ko dito? Ano kaya ang bago dito?
"Yeah, you must visit your friends that you didn't see for three years...you can visit Archielle," he mentioned out of nowhere the reason why my forehead creased. I was not even thinking of him as a friend, but Sharla keeps talking about him, and I'm somehow curious why she's close with him.
"All of a sudden, you're talking about that man that I'm not even close with." I chuckled and shifted my eyes away from him because I can feel that the ambiance became awkward all of a sudden. He's talking about a man, and I know what man thinks when they are talking about their fellow one.
