Lelyah and Viktor are siblings, Lelyah is the youngest 14 years old and Viktor is 17 years old. Their father is Russian and their mother American, They were born in Russia and grew up there until Lelyah was 7 and then moved to Boston until she was 12. They have traveled to different places and finally they are tired of the life in the city and decide to settle down and live in Avonlea.
They come from a rich family, their grandparents from their mother side they transport goods and the grandparents from their father's side having their own company in Russia and they expanding it to America where their father met their mother.
His brother stayed in Boston to go to college and be a Doctor and goes and visit from time to time.
