You jumped once more as the sound of thunder rang through your apartment. It was late at night and your husband still wasn't home, most likely due to the storm. Although his reception was bad, he texted you and made sure that you knew he would be home soon, but you were still scared. Ever since you were a kid you've always hated thunder storms. They were way too loud and made you extremely anxious. 

You heard another crack and the windows lit up with the flash of lightning. You immediately jumped up from the couch and ran into your bedroom closet, slamming the door behind you. Tucking your head between your knees as you crouched down, you wondered why it had to have stormed the night that Bakugou had a late shift of patrolling. The thunder got louder and you could see the flash of lightning from the crack of the door leading to the dark closet you were in. 

You suddenly saw light as the closet lit up from the door opening and there you saw your husband standing in the doorframe. You were embarrassed for him to see you like this, but you still got up and jumped into his arms. He hugged you back and brought you over to the bed and sat you down. "Are you okay?" he asked. His face was neutral as it always was but you could tell he was worried. You slowly shook your head as he took your hand in his. "It's okay, it's just a thunder storm." He said. His voice calmed you down some, but you were still scared. It was somewhat quiet for a moment while he thought to himself, but he quickly grabbed your hand again and pulled you up from the bed and out of your bed room.

"Katsuki!-" You yelped from surprise. He sat you down on the couch and let go of your hand. "Stay here, I'll be right back." He said as he went into another room. Even though you wanted to follow him, you stayed put. He seemed serious and you didn't want to make him upset. He quickly came back with his arms filled with blankets and pillows. You noticed that he changed into something that seemed more comfortable. He plopped the blankets and pillows onto the couch and started wrapping you in them. "Katsuki, what are you doing?" You asked. He sat down next to you and wrapped himself in the blankets with you. "We're going to watch a movie to distract you from the storm." He said as he grabbed the remote and turned the TV on. 

You blushed as he wrapped his arms around you and the two of you decided on a movie to watch. Bakugou had always seemed like a heartless asshole who only cared about himself but in reality he actually cared about you a lot, even though sometimes he didn't really show it too well.

Hours later you were asleep in his arms. The storm had calmed down while you too were watching the movie and you were already so tired so you just fell asleep. When the movie was over Katsuki looked over at you and smiled when he realized that you were asleep. He ran his fingers in your hair to mess it up a little before picking you up and bringing you to the bedroom. He loved the way you looked so peaceful in your sleep, especially after you'd been so tense from the storm. He laid you down on the bed, covered you up and laid down next to you. He once again wrapped his arms around you and locked your fingers together as he slowly fell asleep beside you.
