15) Keep Your Enemies Close(r) (Remastered)

Lexa's POV

-We're back, bitches! - Octavia shouted as we joined the others on the beach.

Everyone was dressed in bikinis or swimsuits, and I tried not to look at Clarke, because I didn't want to invalidate her by checking her out.

Then Finn started talking nonsense, so everyone payed attention to him.

I was thankful for this opporturnity, now's the time to respectfully admire Clarke's body. I swear I only looked for a second when she glanced over my direction.

She chuckled, then lifted the puppy up in her arms.

- I see you brought supplies for lil Madigan!

- So she's a girl?

The puppy started slipping in the girl's arms so I gently took her from Clarke so she could have some rest. The paws left their marks on the blonde's skin, it's obvious the small animal's nails weren't taken care of.

- Thanks. It means 'little dog' in Irish. We could call her Madi.

I hesitantly looked up, and then back at Madigan.

- I guess we have a new officer at the station now. Which brings us to something I wanted to talk to you about.. 

- So when are we getting in the water?

Finn splashed us both with a fine amount of cold H2O.

- Can we discuss this later? It seems like we don't really have much of a choice. - Clarke explained.

I could see the satisfaction on Finn's face.

He won this match, but our fight is far from over.

Clarke's POV

We had so much fun in the sea! Madi seemed to enjoy it too, although she was too weak to swim, so Lexa held her on top of the water, and she moved her legs like she was running.

Then Octavia, Lexa and Finn competed against each other, measuring who could swim the fastest, and it was surprisingly Octavia.
