Lexa's POV

Yesterday was... Let's just say, remarkable. We couldn't stop the robbing, and we didn't catch the bad guys. Even if I want to believe what Clarke said, we have to find someone who takes the blame. That person should be a guilty one. If I don't want Clarke's team to suffer, then I have to find out who they work for.

- Rise and shine partner!

- You dumbass, I wasn't even sleeping!

- No, you were just daydreaming about that hottie, am I right?

- Like hell I was! I was just thinking about solving our case, and you should too. That woman is our enemy anyway.

- I don't see a problem with that.

I shook my head, and threw an evidence at Octavia.

- Oh I see. - She laughed.

We started fighting, and throwing proofs at each other. It was fun. Absolutely one of the perks of being a detective.
We enjoyed ourselves, until Lieutenant Titus appeared next to us.

- Will you finish it? You have press conference in 3 minutes.

Geez, I totally forgot. Okay O, let's go!

We quickly got changed and went to the conference room. We took our seats, and waited for the questions.

A man raised his hand and I allowed him to speak.

- Good morning, detectives. We heard that yesterday a bank robbery happened. Did you catch the offenders?

- Good morning. Unfortunately, we didn't. But we're working on it. - Octavia started, and motioned towards our office. Yeah sure. We were hardly working a few minutes ago.

- This case seems to be more difficult than we thought

- This case seems to be more difficult than we thought. These thieves are a part of a system. Like a mafia. We have to figure out who is their leader, and take care of her or him. - I continue O's comment.

A woman upsetly reacted to my last sentence.

- You perfectly know who the leader is. We saw it with our drones. Sadly we couldn't hear anything, but we saw how softly you handled that bunch.
