Throughout history, Americans have seen the dangers of socialism. From watching India's economy crumble, to watching Cuba become even poorer. To even watching Venezuela, once the most wealthy country in South America, decay. Americans have had the privilege of a capitalist economy, yet according to a poll taken in 2019, 43% of American adults say that socialism would be a good thing for the country.
That 43% of Americans who participated in that poll believe that the cancer of socialism will be a good thing for the United States. Bernie Sanders and so many of his supporters believe the same. To them, socialism is what will make America great, but in reality, socialism is detrimental to America, not beneficial.
