In closing, socialism has always failed and it will fail in America if it were to ever be implemented. Socialism has destroyed many societies such as Cuba, Venezuela, and at one time India. If socialism were to ever be implemented in the United States, it would trample over the values and principles that Americans hold dear. It would also diminish everything America's founding fathers worked so hard to achieve.
The 43% of Americans who see socialism as a good thing, may see socialism as the thing that will make America a utopia, but utopias are unachievable and unrealistic. Realistically, socialism would be destructive to the United States' economy, policies, and in general, socialism would be detrimental to America, not beneficial.
