Falling I was falling and someone is calling My name, what am I facing? A wall, where Midnight is dreaming Nightmares, she was struggling With heartache as she was sleeping She dreamed with enough letting Go of emotions, she was gathering Pain of the past, she was harboring
I watched as she fought with the bitterness As she went to battle with resentfulness She fought, hoping to find happiness Where she thought she could find with a mess I was afraid to say or even address Her hopefulness was the root of her helplessness She might strike me without any caress I guess that's her nature of carelessness
I stood when the show was over I faced what was in the other Wall, where Daylight would shatter The pain, that developed into a disaster A scream that turned into a whisper A whisper that turned into a bitter Emotion, that Midnight would gather What? What could possibly last forever?
I see nothing when the hat widened the brim I felt no one, not one against the rim All my fears were subject to a whim When reality turned into nothing it seemed The moon shone, the stars gleam The fog rose and vanished like steam All deeds are subject to schemes That one night, the night when Midnight dreams

This is the first poem I wrote that defied my traditional four-verses-per-stanza structure. Aside from When It Rains which could be found in another collection, this poem marks the beginning of me exploring poem lengths and structures.
Honestly, I have no idea what this poem meant. I have no idea what half of what I'm writing meant. It's just...there.
I don't remember writing this poem at all. All I know is that I wrote it way back 2015. I don't remember much about this poem except that it was a focal point in my writing.
So, what do you think this means? Comment below. :)
