CMDR David Sawyer's Galactic Journal
September 21st, 3306
Not much happened the past few days, so I just didn't write anything down. But today I made a killing doing some bounty hunting and bought a big-ass hauler ship and tweaked it a little so it was a full-on mining vessel, along with some combat. I supercruised over to an asteroid field and began mining. I gathered a lot of asteroid chunks and began refining them into sellable minerals. While mining, I noticed a peculiar asteroid chunk. I scooped it up and examined it, only to find out it was some sort of ALIEN TECHNOLOGY. I excitedly but carefully kept analysing it, and came to the conclusion that it was a weapons module. I carried it down to the power room and fiddled with some wires and was able to hook it up. Coincidentally, I had been scanned by pirates and they began attacking, I directed power to weapons and opened fire. I swear to glob it took like 30 seconds to clear them all out. I decided it would be best for the professionals to examine it so I uninstalled it and headed to the nearest starport. Long story short, they gave me a fuckton of money for it and now I'm rich again along with the minerals I sold.
