CMDR David Sawyer's Galactic Journal
September 18th, 3306
I wasn't able to record an entry yesterday. Something happened.
So absolute assholes decided it'd be a good idea to attack Earth. Y'know, the fucking birthplace of humans. I was able to intercept them as soon as they made it to Sol, all thanks to a my shitty radio. I was just supercruising around, writing in my journal when my comms picked up a strange signal, I turned up the volume and I heard about 4 people discussing their plan of attack. I quickly jotted down where they were going to attack and headed to the nearest starport and blew nearly all my credits outfitting my ship and going from a delivery ship to a combat vessel. I was able to lock onto them and force them out of supercruise. And so began the hours long battle between the pirates, and some nobody in a rinky-dink spaceship, and eventually the system authoritys. They had been slowly pushing towards Earth and one of them managed to get onto the planet. I acted quickly and followed them. We got into and high-speed chase of them dropping some bombs and me intercepting them and shooting their shields down. After so long I finally killed them. I breathed a sigh of relief and headed back into space. The authoritys congratulated me and as a reward, I got a shit-load of money. I should probably end it here for now, I'll talk about it more in the next entry.
