CMDR David Sawyer's Galactic Journal
October 6th, 3306
I missed yesterday's log because something...happened. We had our first casualties, and I'm not sure if I should me sad or glad. Two of our crewmates, Anthony Cazzo and Kylie Brando, died from sheer idiocy. And I'm sure Kylie sucked off Anthony in the kitchen while we were panicking trying to dock at a starport because or docking computer crashed and wouldn't work. What happened was we were running trade routes trying to get a bit more money to fund our research and we got pulled out of supercruise by some pirates who wanted our cargo. This was a regular occurrence and we would just send someone into a fighter ship to take care of the dickheads and be on our way. We did our normal routine of sending one or two people down into the fighter bay and getting prepared, and this time it was Anthony and Kylie's turn. We knew that something would go wrong this time, and boy were we right. Anthony was a narcissistic show-off who would try and flex his skill any chance he got, even if it meant he could die, and this would be a perfect opportunity. He tried pulling a flashy finishing move on a pirate but got too close and was engulfed in the explosion from the pirate's ship. We all watched in horror as Kylie freaked out and ended up crashing into the other pirate, exploding them and herself as well. We had mixed feelings, we felt bad because we had lost two crewmates, but also kinda glad because they were both assholes. I need to clear my head, it's been a stressful week with all the Thargoid shit and all. I might take a spacewalk later, it always calms me down.
