CMDR David Sawyer's Galactic Journal
October 4th, 3306
Before we could go any farther with our Thargoid investigation, we would need a mobile base of operations. Our planetary outpost commonly has to deal with other Commanders landing there and we have to stop what we are doing and tend to their ship. We somehow were able to convince the Empire to give us an Imperial Cutter, the best ship in the universe. It has many floors with different purposes, so we have places to work, to sleep, to eat, etc. We outiftted it to be a combat-explorer so we can defend ourselves properly, and spend days on end in deep space. After hours of training on how to fly this fucking behemoth of a starship, we set a course for a system where Thargoids were spotted and continued trying to crack the code on the USB thingy. We are getting close on it, we just need to make a program or two and we can open it up and investigate more. Not much else to say here.
