A week had passed by and here i am. My last salary is almost gone and still no one's good enough to hire me. Only a week had passed by but i'm already drowning in poverty. If my brain is asking for more options, it would definitely say Hussey's offer.
I don't think i can do that but i'm really suffering. I don't know if it's the right thing to do or am i destined to do this. I don't know what to do, everything's falling apart. So many school works are given and there are many things that i have to buy for my studies. I almost forgot that the semester's gonna end soon, i have to pay for the next semester too. This world won't really be my ally huh. Are we meant to be enemies forever?
My phone rang and i immediately picked it up.
"Y/n there's someone i know who needs her car to get cleaned and she said she'll pay someone to do that! Come here quick!" I agreed. Thanks to Tzuyu, she just found me a job temporarily. I thank God for giving me a Tzuyu in my life. I went to the address that she sent me and i found the owner of the car there.
I cleaned her car diligently wanting to get more tips. And when i noticed that there are some damages on the engine, i willingly fixed everything. I'm lucky i know how to do this since i worked at the car repair shop. The old lady gave me 300 bucks for repairing everything and another 150 bucks saying that i should use it for taking a bus.
She's really nice. But of course i think i would be wasting that if i'll use it for the bus fare. I decided to walk home although it would be a long walk. The old lady's house is a bit far from the city, it's not crowded with people here. Few houses can be seen and you'll have to walk for 20 minutes to reach the bus stop.
Yes. Now i will just have to turn right before getting to the bus stop when a guy showed up in front of me.
"Give me your bag and i'll let you live." Shit. This made my tears flow down to my cheek.
"Please, i worked hard to get this money i still have to pay for my tuition fee." The guy seemed to have no mercy at all. He pretended like he did not hear what i said.
"I said give it to me." He pulled out a gun and pointed it in my face. My parents surely taught me self defense so i immediately grabbed his wrist and twisted it that made him drop the gun. I then ran while holding my bag when another guy showed up and took the bag from me. Then both of them ran away.
I'm stupid.
I can see the bus stop from here now. Nice, i only have 3 bucks in my pocket. The girl standing behind the bus stop caught my attention.
"UGHHH!! WHY!" She yelled while kicking the trash can. Seems like she's also stressed just like me.
"Uhh hey, may i ask how can i help you?" My dumb self offering to help someone when i can't even help myself.
"I just missed the last bus." She sighed and looked at me.
"What?! Why are you here?" The girl who gave me an offer last week. Yes it's her. She's wearing a black hoodie and denim pants with matching white shoes. It emphasized her height.
"What? Can't i be here? How about you why are you here? Are you following me?" I answered her. This girl's weird why do i keep on seeing her? I mean this is just the second time but it just felt weird.
"Look we missed the last bus already. Do you have time to argue?" Yes right how are we gonna go home now. I started walking and she just followed me.
"The guys took my money."
"What?"
"I came here to do some job so that i can earn money but the thieves took it from me." What am i thinking i forgot that this girl might belong to a mafia group. I should've not said that.
"Then come with me. You'll earn money."
"No! You might be a drug dealer."
"No! I don't do drugs! Yuck what made you think that?"
"You said you do a lot of illegal things."
"I said i do illegal things but not a lot of illegal things."
Where is she? Go that way i'll go this way!
Some guys shouted those things but we don't know where they are. It seems like they're near us.
"Look Y/n i need you to run." She pulled me in the street corner and whispered those words to me.
"Wait how did you know my nam—"
"Shhh! Shut up. They'll hear us. Whatever happens, don't tell them that i do illegal things okay?"
"Huh? Wait— why—" I didn't notice that this girl is pretty tall until she stood this close next to me.
"Just promise me come on!"
"Okay okay i promise." I promised her that i won't tell her fucking secret for pete's sake. I can't break a promise but i can't afford to die too! I don't have any money for my funeral.
Hearing the footsteps near us made my body shiver. I don't wanna die just yet i know i always say that i wanna disappear but please i don't wanna die. A guy then pulled Hussey's arms that made me scream.
"Y/N RUN!!!!"
I did what she told me to do but later on i found two guys chasing me. What in the actual fuck? I just got my foot sprained last week, its not fully recovered yet. I endured the pain and continued running to God knows where. I'm so fucked up why do this keep on happening to me. I ran as long as i can, i am now in the middle of the woods. Based on my observations this place is really not crowded and there's a forest nearby.
I don't know if it's a great escape or great death. Soon enough i found myself stumbling down a hill. Shit, i'm sorry Tzuyu for always running to you whenever i have problems. I'm sorry Sana that i always tease you. I'm sorry Mom, Dad, and unnie that i'm gay. Oh no i don't wanna die yet.
"Do you really have to go this far?" A guy covered my head with a sack. Of course wow now i'm being kidnapped. Thanks to that Hussey girl who kept on doing illegal things. Now i'm doomed. The guy is pulling me towards a direction of course because i don't know where i am going.
"Take her inside."
"Tie her so she won't try to fight."
I can hear girls talking but i can't fully understand what they're talking about. Right now i'm just praying. Hoping not to die, i can't just die without Tzuyu knowing about it. She'll be worried for sure. I suddenly felt water being poured on my head. It's cold, it makes me hard to breathe because now the bag that covers my face is wet.
Someone then adjusts the bag just enough to make me breathe.
"Now let the games begin." A girl spoke. I don't like where this is going.
"Tell us what you know about her and we'll set you free."
Too bad i promised i won't speak.
