Caryn was almost in a slumber when the butler finally came to fetch her. Slowly she got up, as her body was stiff from sitting in the same position for so long.
When she entered the room, all eyes turned to her. "What now?" she thought. The sheikh got up and motioned her to come forward. "Today we are gathered here to celebrate my return. As everyone here knows, I've been away for more than a week. On my journey I found myself a new wife", he pointed at Leila, who looked down, scarlet red in embarrassment. "Plus, I've found a way to make up for all the bad blood between me and my brother. Brother as a token of peace, I bought you this pure, innocent beauty" he pulled Caryn in front of him. "May she make you as happy as my wives does me" everyone applauded upon hearing this. Caryn stood there in shock. A man with cold, grey eyes made his way towards her. Even though she was afraid she was extremely captivated by him, and she hated herself for it. "What the actual fuck is wrong with me? You are unbelievable Caryn. How can you be attracted to someone who you don't even know? Someone who's brother bought you? Someone who looks even more dangerous than his brother" she fought with herself internally. He held his hand out and out and pulled her towards him. "Welcome to your new life angel" he whispered in her ear, whilst Caryn just stood there frozen.
