"I'm telling you Happy, that wasn't just a dream, it felt too real."

"What do you mean? Like Charle can see the future?". "

"I don't know, maybe."

"But you're not a royal exeed," exclaimed Happy.

Natsu ignored his comment and jumped out the window, "come on Happy, we gotta find them."

"Aye!"

They were running round Magnolia, looking for the street the pinkette saw in his dream. "There they are!" Natsu ran full speed as Cana jumped in front of Wendy, "get down!" He lept and pushed the three to the ground as the beam of dark magic crashed into the building behind them.

--"Natsu!"

--"Natsu-San!"

"Are you hurt?" he asked.

They shook their heads, "why are you here?"

"No time to explain, we gotta get back to the guild," he said, getting up and taking both Wendy and Cana's hands, Happy taking Charle's.

"Gramps!" yelled Natsu as he burst through the guild doors. Most of the guild members had gone home or to their dorms as it was quite late, only Mira remained, serving Master and Laxus at the bar and Gray and Erza where sitting at a table talking with Juvia asleep on Gray's shoulder.

"What is it brat?" asked Makarov, swiveling  round in his seat to face the newly arrived mages, all panting from the run.

"Acnologia just tried to kill these 3," he growled, gesturing to the girls behind him.

"Good job Natsu was there otherwise I would have been a goner," smirked Cana, playfully hitting Natsu's arm.

"Cana-San! How can you say that so casually? You could've died!" Wendy shrieked, surprising the others.

"But I didn't," Cana smiled, ruffling the young dragon slayer's hair.

Wendy slapped her hand away, a tear rolling down her cheek, causing the card mage's eyes to widen. "Baka! That's not the point!"

Cana knelt down in front of the little girl and wiped her tears away, pulling her into a warm hug. "I'm sorry, Wendy."

"What I want to know, is why Natsu just happened to be there," stated Gray.

"I saw it."

"Huh?"

"In my sleep," Natsu started. "I saw Lucy's death, then I saw Cana die protecting Wendy and Charle."

"Are you sure it wasn't just a coincident?" asked the requip mage.

"No. It was too real."

"Well, for now, we need to warn the rest of the guild, and use Natsu's dreams as an advantage to protect our family," stated the master.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Eh? Is that true?" asked Lucy excitedly.
"Yes, but not for long; you haven't been in limbo long enough," replied 1st.
"So I can really go see him?" Mavis nodded. "When?"
"Come with me, we can go now." The 1st Master led Lucy into a small dimly lit room, in which the celestial mage's body lay on a bed in the middle. Mavis noticed Lucy's hesitation and took her hand, leading her over to the bed. She held her other hand over Lucy's body and a bright light illuminated the room, causing them both to squint their eyes.
When the light died down, Lucy found that they were no longer in the room by her body, they were in a large familiar forest. She peered round noticing the wooden house of her best friend, not too far from when they were standing. "Go ahead, he's home," smiled Mavis, "I'll come get you once I have talked to first."
"Arigato!" she beamed, running of to the house. The window had been left open so she decided that would be the best way to get in, considering he always locked his front door. I'm turning into Natsu she thought, a slight grin on her face as she pulled herself up on to the window sill, then landing soundlessly on the wooden floor. The dragon slayer was sleeping quietly on his bed, his blue companion curled up on his pillow. Lucy walked over to the bed and knelt down, giggling at his cute face.
"Lucy..." he mumbled tiredly.
"Natsu?"
"Lucy?" The dragon slayer's eyes flickered open and he bolted up right. He stared at the blonde in disbelief, before asking, "am I dreaming?"
She shook her head, "no, you're not dreaming."
"I knew you were still alive!" he beamed.
"Not quite," she sighed, her smile dropping.
"What do you mean?" he asked worriedly.
"It's a long story, but I can tell you one thing, I am coming back," she explained.
"You promise?"
"I promise. Now close your eyes."
"Why?"
"Just do it, please."
He did as he was told. Lucy knew that he wouldn't be able to feel her, considering she was technically a ghost, but she needed him. She placed one hand on his cheek and leaned forward, letting her lips gently graze his. The blonde was surprised when Natsu wrapped his warm arms around her waist and pulled her closer, eagerly kissing back. "I've missed you, Luce," whispered Natsu as they pulled apart.
"I've missed you too, Natsu. But I have to go now, my time is up."
"Huh?"
Lucy didn't reply, instead she got up and walked to the centre of the room to where the 1st Master had just appeared. She took Mavis' hand and waved to Natsu with the other. "Protect the guild," she smiled, a tear rolling down her face.
Natsu watched as the two of them disappeared in a bright light. "Natsu~ did I just see Lucy?" The pinkette turned to notice his cat awake and staring at the place where she just disappeared.
"Yeah, she was here. She promised me that she would come back."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Oi, minna!" yelled Natsu as he ran into the guild the next morning.

"What is it this time flame brain?" Gray asked once the guild had silenced.

"Lucy is coming back!"

"How do you know, Natsu-Nii?" asked Romeo.

"She came to me last night."

"What do you mean?" said the rune mage.

"As in, she was literally in my bedroom last night," he said.

"That's impossible, Natsu, it was probably just a dream," explained Erza.

"If it was a dream, then how come I saw her too?" piped Happy.

"It is possible that it was just a hallucination, an illusion, something that you wanted to see," suggested Levy, looking up from her book.

"No illusions kiss like that," mumbled Natsu, staring at the floor. Happy smirked at his comment but didn't speak.

It was then that the all heard a familiar, yet forgotten voice coming from the doorway. "Natsu is right, Lucy is not dead."

Omg! It's a miracle! I'm back! Sorry for taking so long, I've been busy with stuff. I apologize if this chapter isn't as long or as interesting as you wanted it to be, I just wanted to publish something soon so you didn't have to wait any longer. I've also realised that lately, my writing skills are becoming kinda crap, and I don't know why. :'( Anyway, I'll update the next chapter after I publish another chapter for Magnolia High, and hopefully it won't be as shit. And who do you think just walked though the door, take a guess. See ya next time! Mwah ♡
