CHAPTER 1: CRUSH? NO WAY!

"is that johnny's shirt again?" 

mark giggled as he nodded to his friend yuta, who was sitting on the couch across from him. "yep! johnny said i could keep it since i looked cute in it... he's so nice don't you think?" mark said dreamily to his roommate. yuta scoffed.

"dude, you really need to stop taking his clothes. that man is gonna become homeless because of you." yuta laughed at him. "seriously though, what's with you and your obsession with his clothes? you have all these clothes in your closet anyway!"

"johnny-hyung's clothes are so comfy though..." mark whined. "and they make me feel closer to him. this one smells like his cologne...so sweet and just- oh my god!" he fangirled as he flopped onto his bed. 

"and you say that you don't have a crush on this boy? i beg to differ with that minhyung." yuta  battered. yuta wasn't wrong, mark was always ranting about johnny— good or bad. it was sometimes annoying to others— actually no it was annoying.

"i do NOT have a crush on johnny! we're just friends... plus he's dating nari-noona anyway..." mark spat back. "if anything, i'm just really close to him! and it's gonna stay that way. stop saying that i have a big fat crush on him, because I DON'T!"

(yeah sure mark, keep telling yourself that...)

"oh mark..." yuta sighed. "you just haven't realized it yet." he mumbled under his breath.

"god, where is my shirt- oh right... i gave it to mark."

jaehyun rolled his eyes, "again? to mark? dude, i'm serious... you need to get your shit back!!! mark can't just be constantly taking your clothes, they're YOUR CLOTHES after all. do you not realize that or are you just dumb?"

"okay first of all, rude." johnny retorted. "secondly, no i am not. mark is just like a little brother to me, and he can take them if he wants it doesn't matter. plus he'll give them back at one point anyway." he added.

"you say that all the time, and he still hasn't given them back. when are you gonna realize that he has a crush on you?" jaehyun said in frustration. jaehyun wasn't an idiot, he knew that mark had the biggest crush on johnny and johnny was just too blind to see it.

"he does not have a crush on me! he's just like a little brother to me, and he thinks the same. you guys are the ones who keep over thinking it. mark and i are just friends, and that's how it is. stop assuming we're something else when we're not." johnny stated bluntly.

"keep telling yourself that youngho," jaehyun scoffed. "all you're gonna do is get yourself in trouble. i mean it." 

"i won't get myself into trouble, so can you just cut it out!?" johnny suddenly snapped. "i'm tired of you guys pushing this bullshit that 'ooo mark likes you' or whatever! mark and i do NOT LIKE EACH OTHER! we are friends and that's how it's gonna stay so just shut up!"

"why the hell are you getting so heated over this? we're just saying what needs to be said. stop getting so fucking pressed over something that you know is true. you and nari? that's just bullshit. stop playing her, and realize it." jaehyun sighed as he got up.

"i'm leaving, but i'll see you later." he added as he grabbed his coat. "stop being a pussy, and man up john. before you know it, you're gonna be in turmoil and no one will be able to help you. and that will be your fault."
