CHAPTER 7: ANOTHER KISS 4 ME.

"what are you doing?" mark instantly pushed johnny off as he backed up. "this isn't right, you have a girlfriend. we can't do this. what we did was a kiss, but a drunk one. we weren't in our right minds. don't make this anymore worse." mark pleaded.

"i-i don't know i'm sorry..." johnny apologized as he looked down. "i just thought- i don't even know. it's just we need to talk about this and well, nari. she's my girlfriend and you know that." johnny explained and mark nodded, biting his lip.

"donghyuck wants me to tell her." mark spoke. "he wants me to tell her myself that i kissed you at that party, but i haven't yet. i wanted to ask you if y'know, i should or not? like you said, she's your girlfriend after all." he added.

johnny nodded in agreement, "i need to tell nari, other wise it's gonna kill me and possibly my relationship. we should both tell her." he said. mark shook his head, he should be the one telling her, not him. "why not? it was us after all." johnny questioned.

"it was me who asked to kiss you in the first place johnny," mark sighed. "it was my fault i should've been smart about what i was doing, but i left my emotions get the best of me. i'm sorry. i need to tell her. it was my action, and i took advantage of you."

"woah, why would you say that?" johnny suddenly questioned at his remark. "you didn't take advantage of me, i was drunk too. don't keep putting yourself down..."

"no, because i did take advantage of you johnny!" mark suddenly snapped. "i took the fact that you were my best friend and then got drunk with you and decided to play some childish game and now look what happened! i can't risk losing you as a friend johnny... this is my fault."

"mark, you aren't gonna lose me as a friend! stop saying that and just-" johnny spoke but was cut off once more by mark's strong words.

"johnny just shut up!" mark retorted. "i'm going to tell nari, and if i lose you then-" he stopped at his words with a big sigh. "then i don't know, okay? i don't know. let's just get this over with, i'll tell her the truth and hope everything goes well."

"and if it doesn't?" johnny asked worriedly. mark looked at him with sad eyes, and just sighed.

"then maybe it's time we stop seeing each other."

mark walked nervously as he saw nari sitting outside of the cafe he asked her to meet him at. nari was a little confused about it, but agreed because she knew how close he was with johnny.

mark walked up behind and tapped her shoulder, “h-hey nari…” mark spoke. nari turned around with her bright and gleaming smile. if only she knew that smile would soon fade from the dark words that were going to come out of his mouth.

“hey mark!” nari greeted back. “come take a seat. i ordered us some drinks, they should be out in a bit. anyway, what did you need to see me for? is everything alright with you?” nari asked in a concerned tone. mark bit his lip nervously at her actions.

”w-well,” mark struggled in his words as he sat down in front of her. “i-i need to tell you something, and i know you’re gonna be mad at me… but please just hear me out, okay? that’s all i ask from you when i tell you…” mark pleaded.

“...okay.” is all nari said. mark took a deep breath, as he tried to control his shaking hands and accelerated heartbeat. he was terrified, but knew it was the right thing to do in the end.

“nari, at the party… while you were sleeping… well- well, me and johnny got drunk and played spin the bottle and- well, fine i’ll just say it. nari, when we played spin the bottle, we- we went in the bathroom and i-i kissed him… and he kissed me back.” mark spoke.
