CHAPTER 5: BUT WHY?

"thanks for coming, even if you were asleep the whole time." johnny smiled to nari as he kissed her forehead at the doorway. "you sure you can work today?"

nari shook it off, "i'm sure baby. you however, need to get that hangover fixed. i have no idea how much you drank but those soju bottles say a lot about what i missed." she winked. "seriously though, take some medicine and rest."

"you worry too much about me, i can take care of myself." johnny reassured her. "now, you should get going. don't wanna miss your train hm?" he said as he pulled her in by the waist. "you know that... i love you right? and you mean the world to me."

nari gasped a little, as a bright flash fell on her cheeks. "i.. i love you too johnny. so much." she responded, looking away from his loving gaze. "gosh, you have to make me a mess before work? i cannot believe you johnny suh."

"i love you. now if you excuse me, i have to go to work and pay my bills. text you later hm?" nari raised a brow and johnny nodded, pecking her lips one last time. "okay, i'll see you later." she smiled as she let go of his grip and walked out the door.

johnny loved nari and he was happy to know that nari felt the same about him. even if he kissed mark the night before.

"you kissed johnny-hyung? mark, he has a girlfriend!" donghyuck scolded the elder. "i may be dumber than you, but i know for a fact that kissing someone's boyfriend is the wrong thing to do! what were you thinking mark? what if nari finds out?"

"she's not, johnny told me he won't! and we were drunk! we were to endorsed with all the soju you and yuta-hyung brought!" mark rolled his eyes. donghyuck scoffed at mark's remark, he was completely ignoring the fact what he did was completely wrong.

"don't try to blame this on me! you are responsible for your actions and you kissed johnny! if nari finds out she's gonna dump his ass for sure! and it's gonna be your fault! i'm not gonna back up your ass up on this one lee." donghyuck talked back.

"well i don't know what you want me to do then? johnny is probably gonna hide it from her anyway, plus it was a drunk kiss. what part of that do you not understand hyuck?" mark responded, not seeing the big deal.

"oh i know what i want you to do," donghyuck said to mark. "you are going to tell nari yourself, that you kissed her boyfriend. and that you don't like johnny, and that you guys are just friends. that's what you're going to do mark lee." 

"what do you mean, tell nari? that isn't my place!" mark argued back. but it was his place, mark initated the kiss in the first place, drunk or not he was the one who asked if he could kiss him and asked him to even take a picture in the first place.

"you told johnny you wanted to kiss him, forgetting the fact that he's dating nari. you proceeded to kiss him, and even asked for a damn picture!? mark do you realize how stupid you sound!? you did this to yourself." donghyuck replied angrily.

"if you don't like johnny in that way, then prove it. tell nari you kissed him and that you're sorry. i'm not gonna keep doing this with you mark, you got yourself in to this mess and you are gonna get yourself out of it, and that's your job." donghyuck warned.

"fine." mark scoffed. "i'll tell her."
