Hailey: Dad?

Hailey's Dad: HI Sweetie

Hailey: You cant call me that

Hailey's Dad: Why?

Hailey: You lost that right when you first laid your hand on me!

Hailey's dad: Your mom called. She wants to get the family back together. Your brothers are She has been sober for about 1 year now.

Hailey: Are you?

Hailey's Dad: I'm still working on it. I want you to come home.

Hailey: Well to bad because I finally have all I want. A good job, a boyfriend. I was at Chicago Med all day to see if my big brother and boyfriend survived a shooting. I'm not in the mood to deal with all this family crap. You, mom Lucas, and Max are not my family.

He put his hand on my arm.

Hailey's Dad: Oh really."

Hailey: You left me in a car to rot with no money, nothing. I almost starved to death. The only reason I'm alive is because of Hank Voight he found me and took me in as his own he didn't show up to my high school graduation drunk and screamed Fuck you Hailey Upton.

He punched me right in the face so I yelled.

Hailey: You are not my fucking dad."

All I could hear was Chicago P.D then everyone stopped. I was brought back to the real world.

Hailey's Dad: If you don't back up I will kill her.

After a while the gun drops and he runs. I dropped to the ground. After a few seconds I felt someone picking me up. The next thing I knew I was laying in a hospital bed right next to Jay.

Jay: Hey.

Hailey: Jay?

Jay: Hey are you ok?

I got up and pushed my IV towards his and laid right next him. This is my safe spot. Then my phone started ringing. It was Gabby.

Hailey: Hey, is he out yet?

Gabby: Yeah he is out, awake and wants to talk to you.

Hailey: Hey Antonio."

Antonio: Where are you? I thought you were going to be here when I woke up.

Hailey: You don't remember, Jay was also shot. I'm with him right now. He needed someone. And plus you have Gabby.

Antonio: I wanted you too.

Hailey: Hey, you know you are like a brother to me right.

Antonio: Yeah, I know.

Hailey: I love you bro. I will come by later.

Antonio: Ok love you too.

Jay: Are you going to tell him about your dad?

I fall asleep and I have a dream about my old family forcing me to live with them and my dad starts to beat me up and my mom and brothers just watch. I wake up crying.

Jay: Hey, what's wrong?

Hailey: I had a dream about my old family forcing me to live with them or they would kill everyone I loved so I moved back in and my dad starts to beat me up and my mom and brothers just watch.

Jay: Aww poor you. Hey, remember how Voight would never smile no matter what like one day at work. Kev put a full body suit on with a hotdog costume."

Hailey: Yeah Antonio took a picture and showed me."

Hailey: Yeah. I'll try.

Jay: Hey Hailey I have a question for you.

Jay: I know we have only known each other for a little bit more than 2 days, but. Will you be my girlfriend?"

I wake up to this loud beeping sound. When I looked up Jay didn't have a pulse and there was blood everywhere. I did C.P.R. And I yelled.

Hailey: I NEED SOME HELP IN HERE!
