This is my first oneshot so I am not very good... My "prompt" was Nahyuta and Simon dancing in the moonlight,.. 💕💕
[ It was the day of the most magical dances throughout the entire existence of Khura'in. Nahyuta was setting up his clothing for a rare occasion. He could simply hear the charming Song of Ceremony playing two floors down in the Audience Chamber. Nahyuta's sister, Rayfa Padma, was doing her Dance of Devotion that only was used for festive events. Nahyuta imagined his sister leaping around the Pool of Souls gracefully swaying her gentle arms. Rayfa couldn't channel spirits at her age and developed jealousy of the young ladies in Kurain Village who could. Fortunately, for her, she was fit for holding Divination Séances that allow you to receive spirits' last memories in the Pool of Souls. Which ended up being useful in court. That is enough about Rayfa Padma, let us concentrate on the main man, Nahyuta Sahdmadhi. ]
I combed my light lavender hair. My head of lilacs is past my waist like Rapunzel and I just loved how it swayed in the breeze when unbraided.
Long, smooth, and perfect.
Today is the day of the dance, and I had invited my panda for a boyfriend, Simon Blackquill, to go accompany me tonight.
Simon lived in the Kurain Village edges of the realm, so we rarely saw one another, even so I wrote heartfelt letters to him. We used Simon's pet hawk, Taka, to transport our letters to each other.
After a lot of persuading, I got Simon to agree to attend, and he said he will be here by tonight. I haven't seen him since the day we kissed and then they sent him back to his town.
Obviously, we didn't tell anyone about our relationship, or Simon could've been executed.
I anticipated my boyfriend anxiously in my private quarters while I was getting dressed.
I put on a white kurta with a purple Nehru coat alongside coordinating pants.
Then, I put on thigh-high boots/socks.
My hair was braided neatly and laid upon my shoulder.
'Almost ready' I thought to myself.
I had one last thing to prepare. I search around my room for the treasure. I pick up a little box that lay on the head of my bureau.
It was a small white box with a lovely ethnic pattern surrounding its rim. I picked the lock with my bobby pin to uncover the wonderful butterfly hairpiece that was given to me by my father.
The last thing I have of Dhurke is this hairpiece that he made himself. He told me when he offered this to me that it was to represent my mother, Amara, who is truly a beautiful butterfly and that the hairpiece was to mean the love the two of them have for me.
I never wore it since I received it because I knew I would begin crying, however, today is the day I finally put this beauty on.
I pick it up gently from the case and place it into my hair. It had a soft pink glow that looked similar to the spirit butterflies that surround me when I meditate.
I glance at myself in the mirror and smile softly.
I pivoted and strode over to the entryways of my room and turned the doorknob. The corridors were heavily decorated for the occasion; it looked enchanting.
O' Holy Mother, Dhurke, I trust you're watching this from the Twilight Realm.
I beam and walk slowly down the foyers carefully gazing at the pretty lights that lit up each end of the palace.
