The next afternoon...

"Michael can I talk to you?" Fortune asked Michael whom had just got back from chemo. "I know it's not the best of time to and I promise it is not about Mika."

Michael nodded and followed Fortune into the living room. Fortune sat in front of Michael on the edge of the coffee table.

"Michael I love your son," Fortune started. "I see myself spending the rest of my life with him. I want to spend the rest of my life with him. Ezra and Nola are my world."

Fortune stopped as Michael's phone began to ring. Michael ignored the call and smiled at Fortune. Fortune smiled back and continued.

"I know you and..I know you see us together in the future. You wouldn't have bought this house for us...and by the way, thank you again. I-"

"Dad, someone just dropped this off for you," Jacob rudely interrupted as he handed Michael an envelope.

Michael took the envelope from Jacob, "thanks."

Jacob nodded and wandered away. Michael placed the envelope on the arm of the couch next to him.

Fortune tried to continue, but he got interrupted again before he could even speak. Michael's phone went off again. He pushed ignore and turned his phone on silent.

"Sorry," Michael apologized to Fortune.

"It's okay. I guess I'll just jump right to what I wanted to ask you before someone decides to interrupt again," Fortune said causing Michael to laugh. "Michael may I have your permission to ask Ezra to marry me?"

Michael smiled, "do you promise to never hurt him in anyway? ...cheating...drugs..."

"I promise," Fortune answers confidently. "I promise I won't relapse or cheat on Ezra. I love him way to much. And I've already lost him one to many times. I can't lose him again."

"Then yes," Michael answered.

"Really?" Fortune smiled.

Michael nodded. Fortune jumped up and gave Michael a giant hug.

"Thank you Michael," Fortune said as he and Michael parted from the hug.

Fortune sat next to Michael. Michael grabbed the envelope and read the front. It read just 'Michael.'

He looked over at Fortune whom was watching him. Fortune gave him a confused look. Michael shrugged and opened the envelope.

When he did he had a look of shock on his face. He dropped the paper that was in the envelope and jumped up. Fortune had a look of concern on his face as Michael started to breath heavy.

"Jacob!" Michael yelled before storming down the hallway.

"What?" Jacob said as he exited his room.

Michael pushed him against the wall.

"Who dropped that envelope off?" Michael asked in anger.

"I don't know!" Jacob yelled.

"What did he look like?"

"I don't know. I didn't really pay attention."

"Jacob! Did he look like Andy?" Michael asked as he backed off a bit.

Jacob looked more confused than ever, "I don't remember what Andy looks like."

"What?! He killed your brother. How do you not know what he looks like?!"

"Michael stop!" Fortune said as he grabbed his arm.

Michael pulled his arm out of Fortunes grip. Jacob quickly ran back into his room and slammed the door shut.
