Michael Part II

Zac

The next day.

"Mika is it okay if I have a friend come over?" Jacob asked Mika in the kitchen.

"Not today Jacob," Mika replied as he sat down at the counter. "Your fathers still sick, so no."

"He's already on his way..."

Mika gave glared at Jacob, "so why did you just ask me?"

"I don't know," Jacob shrugged.

"Is he going to be okay?" Jason asked as he sat next to Jacob, across from Mika.

Josiah joined them and sat next to Mika.

"Yea. He just needs a lot of rest. So, you guys need to try to keep it down until he's better. Okay?" Mika asked as he shot another glare at Jacob.

"What?" Jacob asked confused. "Why are you looking at just me?"

"Because, you always burst into our room bitching about something. So, until your fathers better try to control yourself."

Jacob rolled his eyes at Mika earning another glare.

"Who's this 'friend'?" Mika asked curiously.

"A friend."

"Is it your boy...friend?" Jason asked.

Jason and Josiah broke out into laughter. Jacob got angry and stormed off.

"Really?" Mika asked the boys.

"What?" Josiah laughed.

"You guys are something else." Mika said as he tried not to smile.

"Has he told you about his boyfriend Mika?" Josiah asked.

"Nope," Mika answered. "Have you two met him?"

"Yup," Jason answered, mocking Mika's response.

"Please elaborate," Mika said as he rolled his eyes.

"He's alright. He's almost out of Jacobs league," Josiah answered.

"He's not a dick if that's what you wanna know," Jason replied. "He's nice, but we barely know him."

Mika nodded as there was a knock on the door. Jason got up to answer it. He then brought Jacobs boyfriend into the kitchen to meet Mika.

"Mika this is Zac. Zac, Mika," Jason said.

Zac was the same height as Mika, but more muscular. He look like he was in his early 20s. His hair was brown and messy and he had dark brown eyes.

"Zac, how old are you?" Mika asked concerned.

"17. I'll be 18 next month," he answered.

"Hmm. So, what do you like about Jacob?" Mika asked trying to intimidate Zac.

"Do I have to answer that?" Zac asked nervously.

"Yes."

Zac looked at Jason and then Josiah. Mika crossed his arms and waited for Zac to respond.

"I...uh...does Jacob know I'm here?"

"No. Now answer the question," Mika said.

Zac stayed silent and continued to look back and forth between Jason and Josiah.

Jason started to laugh, but tried to hold it in.

"His rooms down the hall," Josiah told Zac.

Zac nodded and turned towards the hallway.

"Not so fast. You're not allowed in his room," Mika said as he stood up.

"Okay, can I just grab him then?" Zac asked.

"And your not allowed to grab him either."

"I meant let him know I'm here," Zac responded.

"Oh, yea. I knew that. Of course," Mika said and then sat back down.

"Good job," Josiah laughed as he patted Mika on the back.

"Shut it."

Jacob and Zac spent the day watching movies and talking in the living room. Mika kept a close eye on them as he also kept an eye on Michael. Michael didn't look well at all. Mika was starting to wonder if the cancer could be back.
