Lies For What Reason?

Ouma wakes up, hearing snoring beside him. He slides out of bed, going to put on his shirt, and let his hair down. He places his stuffed poodle on the floor. He then creeps out of his room, deciding to go to the library. It's normally very quiet in there. If he waits for long enough, he can grab food without being near anyone. He didn't really feel like company.

"Oh, Ouma. Himiko's hosting a magic show in the gym. She insists on inviting everyone." Tenko says in an annoyed tone. Kokichi, knowing he can't miss it if he wants to avoid suspicion, grins.

"I'll be there~" He says in his annoying, taunting tone. She sighs, walking away.

Bloody water, and torn clothes. Ouma stares, his stomach twisting.

...a strong electrical surge from the water has him screaming...

As Kokichi comes to his senses, he realizes he was screaming, but not too loudly, so he turns it into a laughing fit from where he is perched on the ground.

"Death all around! Oh, what a strange world we live in." He laughs. Everyone stares at him, and he realizes this was a bad situation if he wanted to get out of there.

His laughing abruptly trails off, and he grins at them. His mind struggles to reach a lie.

"Well, another obvious case~! I'll leave you all to figure it out yourselves~" He laughs again, as he exits the gym. Knowing that someone will come after him soon, he immediately starts running back to his own room.

He slams the door closed, tears already streaming down his face. The latest memory has been the worst. He knew that the electricity wasn't his own idea. He begins to sob, leaning his back against the door. His latest outburst would put a target on his back. He just wanted to end this stupid game, but he knew that it wouldn't work, if he kept putting suspicion on himself. But that was who he was now, wasn't it?

A knocking sounds on his door. He steps away, covering his mouth to prevent himself making any noise.

"Ouma. It's Motoma, can I come in?" The familiar, powerful voice of the astronaut asks. He is tempted but...

Why is he being so nice to me? I'm awful to him... It's probably blackmail, isn't it?

"Go away~ The ultimate supreme leader of evil doesn't want you here~" He says in a teasing tone.

Maybe it's Monokuma forcing him to be here... There's no way he would be so willingly kind.

He swallows down his sobbing, backing further away from the door.

"Are you sure? You seemed pretty upset back there..." He says, worriedly.

He's lying. There's no way he actually would worry about you. Who would?

"That was a lie! It's all been lies! Everything! You really thought I was upset?! You're a fool, Motoma-chan~" He declares, lying in fear.

"All... I trusted you, Ouma. You're right, I was a fool. But never again. Never talk to me again, or I swear, I will kill you."
