"Ouma, I am Kyoko Kirigiri. I have a few questions. Mind if I ask them?" A woman with beautiful lavender hair asks. The boy recognizes it as Shuichi's boss.

"S-sure..."

"Alright. First things first, which hand do you write with?" She asks. Kokichi simply lifts up the arm covered in bandages to protect the stitches. Kirigiri writes something down, then continues.

"Can you give me a run down of what happened before your coma?"

"I was going to the b-building where the man who had killed my family stayed, and I had a gun. I had p-planned on killing him but I couldn't. He cut my a-arm, and here I am." He explains. He was annoyed at the struggle it took to talk. He was relearning some actions after being asleep for so long, and talking was one of them.

"Alright. I think that's enough information to go on." She nods, and exits the room. Kaito enters immediately after, going to place a hand over Kokichi's.

Rantaro and Shuichi sit in a cafe. It was meant to be a professional interrogation, but ended up being a nice outing.

Shuichi sips his coffee. "So, Kokichi didn't kill anyone?"

"No. The man tried to frame him, I know it. Kichi doesn't have it in him to kill someone. Don't tell him I said that, though." He grins slightly, sipping on his iced mocha. The two had ordered a bowl of fries together, so they both reached for a chip at once, their hands brushing against each other.

The blue haired boy pulls his hat down, flushed. Rantaro chuckles, lightly blushing, but Shuichi was too busy hiding to notice that.

Kyoko wanders over to see how the interrogation is going, then sees the blushing faces and leaves again.

Shuichi works far too hard; he deserves a break, and a chance at romance.

Ouma and Kaito sit together in the hospital room, alone at last. Ouma cared deeply for all his friends and family, but sometimes it was nice to be alone with his boyfriend. The two both hold a hand of cards, and Kokichi knows he has won the game, but he keeps on a poker face.

"Hey, Kaito, what if we make a bet on the outcome?" He looks over at Kaito, who looks intrigued, so Ouma keeps talking.

"If I win, you have to give me y-your jacket." He declares. Often, his body just started shivering, from the trauma he had endured is what the doctors told him, and treating that like it was from the cold helped. So naturally, Kokichi had made it a habit to steal Kaito's jackets.

"Alright... And if I win, you've got to start drinking more water." Kaito agrees to the bet, then Ouma places his hand down, showing a royal flush. Kaito just sighs, placing down a hand with a pair of sevens and a trio of queens, before removing his jacket and passing it to Kokichi. The hospitalised boy gently kisses Momota before putting on his jacket, smiling contently.

Kaito smiles in return, before collecting up the cards and preparing for another round.
