Hope everyone will like the twist of the last chapter where the repercussions of Bekah’s actions were paid by Klaus. I decide to have him hunch over in pain as to show that the wolf genes were already starting to fight for dominance over his vampire ones the minute after the killing curse was triggered. Also David reincarnation did not work and I felt it was more emotional and scaring that he would not return or be brought back. Hope you will enjoy this chapter. This one was tough to write and felt like tearing my hair out at some parts but tried my best.
Also I know it’s been a while as so much dramatic events and fights have happened but I promise Rebekol sex in the next chapter ;) and the return of Sage and some history of Mikel past so hope you will stick with the story.

Even with my newfound strength surging through what was once my fragile and delectate body I struggled to carry Klaus in my arms back home. I leaned up against the barn wall to gather my thoughts. As I had fled the scene as fast as my feet would carry me. All thoughts of hiding the body somewhere safe till I’d be able to deal with hiding it had gone out of the window. This was due to the disturbance of people talking and walking on our path coming towards the scene of the crime swiftly.
Knowing that I did not have enough time to both hide Klaus in the overgrowth as well as the women’s body I weighed up the options. It was a case of either letting Klaus be found surrounded by that women blood, therefore fuelling fire to their accusation to Klaus when people discovered her missing. It would not take much for people to piece together the evidence of Klaus lying there drenched in blood and her disappearance from the selling spot in town.
Doing the only thing that I was able to do I gathered Klaus in my arms as we retreated through the undergrowth. Where I set off in speed dragging Klaus’s body in my arms as I tugged him along beside me. Within a few seconds of scuttling to safety the confused tones and the horrible scream as the strangers discovered the women mauled and ripped apart in a pool of her rotting blood pierced my ears.
“ATTACK ….ATTACK “ “There has been a murder”
One of the men screamed as he barged in to the barn alerting the town of the dangerous events outside it door. I knew that we had to make it home without being discovered and clean up Klaus to avoid any suspicion.
Even though at home we would be free from anyone catching us wiping away the evidence of Klaus crime it was also more risky. As the bloodied rugs would be on our doorstep and if someone found or stumbled across them it would cast us all under suspicion. So instead of heading home I took a detour down a small path where I knew a small secluded stream flowed.
My arms strained from being weighed down with Klaus’s heavy muscular frame. I tried my best to cut a smooth path so that I would not have to heave and pull him too hard. Sadly every few moments Klaus would moan, Klaus pained as his body was still experiencing waves of some unknown pain caused by my actions. Finally with a sigh of relief I managed to lay Klaus down on the river bank as I tried to gather something that I could collect some fresh water in. There was a long piece of bark with a natural channel cut through the middle. It was designed so that the water had been able to flow through the tree spreading health and life to the once great oak tree where the brunch had fallen from.
I tried my best to gather some water in my hands as I placed it shakingly at the top of the brunch. The water streamed down the bark and on to Klaus bloodied torso and neck. Finding a leaf I began to rub the blood from his flesh trying my best to use the moonlight and my heightened sight to wipe away all the evidence. I tried to bury the lump of guilt in my throat every time I stared down at my brother knowing that it was my entire fault he had this blood on his hands. How was I meant to know that fate would be once again so cruel? Not only to take away David from me before he had a chance to return but also that the death of another would be executed by my brother Klaus.
