Pisces couldn't help it; he was just way too cute. The way he looked at her with those big brown eyes melted her heart.

She had to bring him home and find a place to hide him.  

A puppy followed her on her way home, and Pisces just could not abandon the little guy, could she?

Now there he was, hidden in the basement, munching on some dog food she'd bought from a nearby convenience store.

Scorpio was going to be home any minute, and Pisces was ready with plans to distract him.

She heard the door click open, Scorpio's voice called out, "Honey I'm home!"

Pisces walked up to him, cupped his face in her hands, and kissed him passionately.

"Someone's in a good mood today.", Scorpio kissed her back.

"I feel like I fell in love with you all over again.", Pisces replied.

"Darling, that's how I feel every day."

Pisces blushed, speechless.

Scorpio went up to their bedroom to freshen up. Pisces went down to the basement to check on her little guy. He was wagging his tail, and looking around, confused.

Pisces went close to him, and patted his head, "Now, you keep quiet, alright?"

When Scorpio came down, they sat down for dinner, and Pisces kept him occupied by talking about things he was passionate about.

CLANK

A sound from the basement. Pisces internally cursed and looked at Scorpio.

He had a look of horror on his face. "What was that?"

"Oh, it's nothing. Just a... rat or something, I guess.", Pisces frantically tried to cover up.

"I better go check on it.", Scorpio said, and started to get up.

"No! I mean, there's no need for that.", Pisces replied.

Scorpio studied her with suspicion glinting in his eyes. Then, he literally ran down to the basement, and Pisces followed.

Scorpio reached first and saw Pisces's secret.

"What's this cutie doing here?", an expression of happiness came over his face.

"You like him?", Pisces asked hopefully.

"Of course I like him. Who doesn't like puppies?", Scorpio picked him up in his hands.

"So... can we keep him?"

"Sure we can! If you would love to, then we can!"

Pisces laced her arms around Scorpio's neck and kissed him affectionately. "I love you."

"I love you too.", Scorpio smiled against her lips. 

"I was talking to the puppy.", she giggled.
