Qiao Lu returned home again with a groan, remembering that her father had told her not to wrong Qiao Lan without any evidence. Qiao Lu remembered her father’s serious expression and decided not to voice her complaints to him, and instead go to her mother. After she told her mother of the news, she began to weep.

But this time, even her mother’s expression was somewhat unexpected.

Second Aunt Qiao didn’t like Old Lady Qiao, nor did she like the third sister-in-law, but she still had some reservations about the children of the Third Qiao family.

 Second Aunt Qiao was not delusional. Even if she hated someone she would have a reason for it. For example,  she hates Old Lady Qiao’s vulgarity, eccentricity, and the inferiority of the country folk. But for the children of the Third Qiao families, she only dislikes the Second Sister and Qiao Yuan. The former was clearly a mistress yet she wasn’t ashamed at all and instead, proud. While the latter was as prideful as the sky was high just because he was born a boy.

For the remaining eldest sister Qiao and Qiao Lan, the second aunt Qiao didn’t find them annoying. Eldest Sister Qiao had a docile personality, and Qiao Lan had never acted up.

Except for when Qiao Lu told her last time that Qiao Lan had copied during the exam.

But this time when Qiao Lu said the same thing, Aunt Qiao felt a little bit distrustful. Like she had said last time, Qiao Lan could copy once, but could it be a second time?

Before the test, Qiao Lu had repeatedly told her that Qiao Lan would definitely not be able to copy this time.
