i vote for emori's nickname to be emo

"You guys okay?" Emori asks, landing the pod. On Earth. On freaking Earth. We're back home.

Everyone nods and takes a second before getting up and getting the gear and survival stuff to find the little green spot we had always seen from space in the Ring.

"I can't believe we're actually here." Raven, who had been the most excited to come down, now has a huge smile plastered on her face. Even when we evacuate the dropship slowly, seeing the devasting sight of a deserted Earth, she continues to grin. "This is amazing."

"Where do you think I should grow my algae?" Monty asks, causing a slap from Harper.

I chuckle softly and put my arm around Echo. "The last time we were here, I hated you."

"Thanks for the reminder," she says. "Makes me feel amazing."

"Which way do we go?" Murphy asks. "Maybe... west?" He points towards where the sun will soon be setting.

"Since Murphy suggested west," Emori interrupts. "I suggest east."

Raven laughs. "I hate to burst your bubble 'Mori, but I think Murphy's right. We can follow the sun until it gives out, and then make camp with what we've got. If we don't find the green by tomorrow, we'll head back east and see what we can find."

Everyone nods in agreement.

Murphy smiles when Emori gives out a defeated groan.

;;;

"Are we lost?" Harper asks. "I feel like we're lost"

"Harp, we haven't been here for years," Monty reasons, "and everything is different. We just have to go west until the sun goes down."

Raven nods. "I know that we've already been walking for ours, but something will come up soon. Or not. But either way, we have enough algae with us to eat for two days. Five if we eat just enough to survive."

"Alright," Harper says. "But I still think no one knows what they're doing or where they're going."

We walk for a few more minutes in silence.

...BUt what if Harper was right? What if this was a mistake? What if we should have stayed on the Ring? What if no one survived on Earth, not even those in the bunker? What if-

"There!" Echo shouts, pointing at a pile of dark sand. Except... it's not sand. It's people. People from the bunker.

They are alive. The survived Praimfaya. Octavia. Octavia survived. I can see her again. Oh, God, I can see her again.

I begin running towards the mob of people, and as I get closer I can see children playing, and adults discussing. But if they were here, then why wasn't the green piece of land right underneath us? Shouldn't they have found us by now?

I finally reach the large group of people, and Echo, who had run after me, not too far behind.

A girl screams when she sees me. Her dirty blonde hair clouds her face, almost completely hiding her brownish-blue eyes. She reminds me so much of Clarke that almost want to cry. The only difference in this girl are that her eyes are somewhat a little brown, she has a more pronounced jaw and freckles splashed across her face.

Why she screamed, I have no idea. "Are you-"

"Daddy's here!" she yells. What the fuck.

She runs up to me and hugs me, squeezing so hard that I think she might've broken some of my bones. Who the hell was this weird kid?

"Um, little girl, are you okay?" Echo asks, knealing down to her level when she finally reaches me.

"Of course I'm okay," the girl says. "I'm more than okay. Oh, daddy, I've been waiting for you for six years."

I look at her, confused. "I'm sorry, but I don't-"

"Bellamy."

I freeze. That voice. That was Clarke's voice. The smoothness of it was overwhelmed with a tinge of joy and disbelief. I life my head slowly and meet her blue eyes.

Weirdly, my first thought is that I should've shaved. After, though, I can feel my cheeks getting wet. She's alive.

"You're alive," I say. The little girl who had been hugging me before, gets off me, allowing me to run forward and hug Clarke, clutching her tightly in my arms. "Oh, God, Clarke. I-I thought you were dead. I thought that you were-"

She smiles, something I had missed seeing so much. "Well, you're here now, right? And I'm here too." She puts her hand in mine. "Together."

"Together," I reply.

"Clarke, wow, it's great to see you," Echo interrupts. I had never been more annoyed with her in my life.

"Echo, wow it's great to see you too!" Clarke says, hugging her as well.

"Clarke?" I can hear Monty say from behind us. "Oh my God! Guys, it's Clarke!"

They all run forward and greet each other. Laughs and smiles and hugs are exchanged.

Octavia comes out of the crowd. "Oh, Bellamy."

"O," I say and hug her tightly. "I can't believe this. We're all here, together."

I make eye contact with Clarke, and we smile at each other.

That's when Echo grabs my face and gives me huge kiss in front of everyone. I'm confused. "What was that for?"

She grins at Clarke, who's face is disbelieving. "No reason."

"Wow," Clarke says. And then laughs, confusing me even further. Surely she's jealous, right? To some extent at least. "The most unexpected couple. Congrats, guys."

"Thanks," Echo says. "We really love each other." Not really, I think. Especially not at the moment.

Why was she acting like this?

I turn to Octavia, who looks angry compared to the happiness that had been etched on her face only moments ago. "You're dating her."

"Um...yeah," I say. She rolls her eyes and walks away. Huh. I guess some things never change.

The little who had been waiting on the side runs back to me.

"Aurora, get off of Bellamy," an older girl in the crowd says. She has brown hair and greenish-bluish eyes.

"No, Madi," the little girl replies.

The older one - Madi - gives her an incredulous look, only to say, "I'm not dealing with this right now."

I bend down to Aurora's level. "My mom's name was Aurora, you know."

She giggles. "Who do you think I was named after."

"Aurora," Clarke says. "That's enough. Get off your father."

"Um, excuse me?" Raven asks from beside me.

"What did you just say?" Harper questions.

"Guys," Clarke says. "Meet Aurora. My daughter. And Bellamy's daughter."
