Last of their kind: an apply fic

Chapter 2

Anourak 

 Whoever decided to put the wasps in the spaceship had a bad idea. That, he was ready to argue for.

First, they didn't know how dangerous wasps were in the first place. Biologically speaking, they were deadly. Their stings could knock out all 16 of them dead for what he knew.

Secondly, they weren't useful. At all. The biology he recieved during the preparation period proved so. Then why make those pests join the crew?

And last but not least, they were irksome. No doubt about that.

At least they had Jiho with them, who spoke perfect bee language. The communicator's skills for language seemed to beyond the reach of normal human being.

They also had their doctor Rohan next to them. That at least was reassuring. 

"Are they... gone?"

A heavily accented female voice came from a distance. Australian. 

"Yes. Well, I think so at least." Jiho's voice came from a distance. 

Anourak sat up. Beside him, Rohan and Jiho's heads popped up as well. He also spotted two girls in a distance.

"Ooh awesome! More people!" One of them, a red head with a german accent, giggled.

Anourak and his friends walked slowly towards them. The grass made it extra hard for him to walk in his boots.

 "Indeed. It's nice to meet you all. I'm Jiho and these are Anourak and Rohan." Jiho introduced himself. 

He was the only extroverted one in the boys group. Rohan seemed shy around the girls and although he managed to befriend the two boys, Anourak just knew he didn't like strangers in general. 

"I'm Maria. And this is Zera." Said the redhead. The Australian brunette next to her nodded sarcastically. 

Just by looking at her posture, Anourak wasn't sure if he loved her or hated her.

"What roles do you guys serve? I'm an engineer. Are any of you engineers?" Zera asked.

"No I don't think so." Jiho said once more. He seemed to be in love with talking. "At least I'm not one. I'm a communicator."

"And I'm a doctor." Rohan said proudly. 

"I think I might have forgotten to mention that I'm an astronomer." Maria added.

All eyes truned to Anourak as if it was his turn to state his role. He shrugged. "Does that really matter?"

"Well yeah. We have to know who to run to if we face some specific 'problems'" Zera rolled her eyes as if it was obvious.

Anourak clenched his jaw. Yeah, he didn't like this girl.

"Anyways, I think the engineer was Icelandic." Jiho says, trying to shift the atmosphere. "Apparently he doesn't talk much."

"Aww... shame! I prefer talkative guys." Maria said as she winked at Jiho. He smirked back.

It was cheesy. But Anourak could tell they didn't mean the flirt.

"You guys know who the cooks are? I really need to know what they put in the food and if it's nutritious, etc." Rohan mentioned.

"Yeah same. Hope the biologists are nice enough to care about allergies. I'm allergic to a lot of fruits." Zera noted.

"Well we have no intention of doing so." Anourak commented coldly. He couldn't help it. This rude girl was expecting them all not to grow any fruits just because she was allergic? 

No way that was happening.

Zera glared at him. "Look, if you were a biologist, why didn't you just say so? Why do you need to make this complicated?" She rolled her eyes. "I hope none of the other guys are like you asshole."

Everyone gasped. Anourak spat. "Well you know what? Me niether!" He stuck his tongue out.

Zera mocked him. "Yeah whatever. As if anyone cares."

"Guys... we should stop fighting..." Rohan said.

"I would stop if this guy stopped triggering me!" Zera yelled.

"No it's not that..." Rohan murmured. "We have a messanger."

He cleared the way, letting a 6,5 foot tall muscular man step into the open, his midnight blue eyes scanning the group. Everyone gasped at his size. Anourak could swear Maria's eyes almost popped out.

"The Navigators are hosting a meeting." He said in his deep accented voice. "Follow me."

How was that second chapter? Who do you think is the mystery messanger?

I'm having trouble choosing the next POV character. Probably Augusta (I love her so much) but it might be Hannah or Hailey because I just adore the two.
