My body aches in pain there are wounds on my arms and legs. I was lying in the ground and can't move any of my mucles because of pain. I didn't expect my Friday night will turned to be like this, attacked by a half human and half serpent monster in the middle of nowhere and going to be dead i any minutes now, I wish I had listened to my dad and stay at home. As I saw how my friend got thrown by that monster, I used my remaining enery to scream for help but that made it worse, the snake woman goes to you and attack you till you are eaten by the darkness.
"Dude, Wake up!!" I heard a unfamilliar voice of a girl near me. "Are you awake?" The same voice I heared eirlier.
"Are you okay now? I tried to heal you but healing is not really my forte and I was afraid that I would hurt you more."
"Its a good thing I always bring my magic first aid kit or you would probably turn to ston or bleed out. I'm not really sure how grgon venom works."
What? Magic? Gorgon? Healing? What s this girl talking about?
I gather all my thoughts before doing anything else. What in the world happend? I remember going home from a college party and attacked by this snake-woman-monster thing and then it goes all black. It takes a few minutes for my eyes to adjust when you finaly open your eyes, you examined your sorrundings.
It's night or I think its early morning. I am lying in a unfamiliar forest and covered by blood and everyting really hurts.
There this girl beside you, either in her late teens or eraly twenties, she has messy black hair and er mascara is smudged around her eyes. Her clothing is torn and full of blood.
"Good you're awake now. You made me worried there huh. I'm Annalise by the way and you are?"
"...Jonathan Christopher" I answered.
"Nice too meet you althouhh I'm sure you'll agree teh circumstances could have been better." she smiled trying to show me everything is alright "So what are you?"
I stare at her confused. "Pardon?"
"What are you?" Annalise repeats "You know nephilim, cambion, elemental?"
"Neither- I'm human..."
She stared at me in disbelief. "You're a human?"
I just nodded in agreement.
"Well thats annoying." She said in annoyance.
"...why is that annoying?" i asked
She releases a sigh. "Because I'm going to call the authorities after I take you to the hospital."
"..pardon me?" Why is she going to call the authorities? Am I going to jail? or worse are they going to erase my memories?
"I've broken every secrecy law written." She answered
"...secrecy laws?" I struggle to get on my feet, i didnt notice my wrist is bent unnaturally and made a mistake in pushing it off. I dont even want to look at my ankle.
I groan in pain and decided that the ground is nice.
Annalise shrugs. "The one when human can't know about the existence in magic—but I guess the gorgon would have broken that law anyway."
The gorgon is really a dead giveaway. Thanks to that gorgon I might be dead now.
"By the way, she is over there." Annalise said and points a female body in the corner. "I should really get you to the hospital and get you healed up soon. I'll also contact the authorities about you and-"
"Erase my memories about this world?" I cut her off. She looks at me. "What if I don't want to forget all of this?"
"I'm sorry Jonathan but humans like you can't know about this magic stuff. It's against nature laws." She said and sighed. "Come on we need to get you to the hospital." She said and help me stand up. We where halfway to the hospital when my world turned black again and passed out.
I woke up in a hospital bed with a IV dropsconnected to me. I looked around and saw Annalise is in outside talking to some officers I think.
'Well they are going to erase my memories about this world.'
When Annalised saw that I was awake she immedeatly informed the officers and they go inside.
There where 3 uniformed men that i think is a police officer and 2 unknown people
"Hello I'm Officers Carper and you are Jonathan Christoper... Cullen is it? That is what stated at your Identification Card" Officer Sander said and I just nodded in agreement.
"Well can you still remember before you where admitted here?" Officer Sander asked.
"All I know that I was attacked by a Gorgon when I was drving home from a friend and Annalise saved me from that Gorgon." I said
"Is that all you can remember Cullen?" A man in his late 30's or early 40's said. I just nodded.
"Oh. By the way I'm Secretary Smith, but you might not remember me after your memories about this will be erased." Secretary Smith said.
"What if I don't want to forget all of this?" I asked but Secreary Smith just smilled and Officer Sander goes near me.
"This is going to be fast alright." He said and looks at me in the eye. "You are driving home from a friends house..." he said with a weird voice. "...while driving you saw a squirel and hit your call in the tree." he said with another tone of voice. Will that do something?
I tilted my head and says. "Did that do something?" Officer Sanders was shocked, all of them is also shcoked. Officer Sanders tries again buut he failed.
"Sir he resist the compelment sir." Officer Sanders told Secretary Smith and the other woman.
"How is that even possible?" The woman asked and looked at me. "Are you really a mere human?" she asked me.
"Last time i cheked ma'am, I am a human." I answered her, I looked at Annalise who is also shocked.
"Well looks like there is something special about you Cullen."Secretary Smith said. "You survied a gorgon attack and resist the mind altering,there is something in you."
"He might be a magical being Secretary."Officer Sanders said. "We should let him study magic."
"President Snow can you enroll him?" Secretary Smith asked to the woman who he called President Snow.
"I could enroll him to the elementary school of magic." She answered.
"No thats not what I meant. He has a great potiential in him. College of Magic and Downgard University can horner him with his great potential." Secretary Smith says to President Snow.
"We need to look if he has magic or not before considering enrolling him at College of Magic." President Snow expalains.
"Well are you letting Downgurd University take him?" Secretary Smith says. President Snow just stares at Secretary Smith and sighed.
"Fine. I'll process his enrollment in College of Magic immedeatly." She say before looking at me. "I'll see you in College of Magic after you are discharged here, Cullen." She says before leaving.
They all leave except for Annalise.
"Hey, looks like you are going to be enrolled at my school soon." I just nodded.
"I'm glad I can keep my memories." I told her before taking my rest.
'I can't wait to see what this magic world has to offer.'
