The Fundraiser

Noah's POV
Immediately after my bath, I came out from the quarters to get the box Nuella left at the door    she said Mrs. Andrew wants me to wear it for the fundraiser party apparently it was a shoe
Fucking rich people and their taste .
I caught Vivienne staring at me as I was about to go in, our eyes met and she averted her gaze from me pretending to focus on her phone "stupid girl" I mean why will such a pretty girl be rude and that mannerless, she does not think of others than herself 'I  pity her' I shrugged and went inside.

At the Fundraiser
     "we are here ma'am " I said as I park the car in the available space left
Mrs.Andrew and her children came down from the car... I noticed that Vivienne felt Uneasy according to what Nuella told me she does not want to attend the party 'but why?'
She faked a smile as they walked right in and I was left standing outside in the cold watching the types of cars that go and come in.

Vivienne POV
We walked into the yellow sapphire ballroom, the floor was fully carpeted creating a space for people to dance in the heart of the hall, the floral decorations fit the cozy five star ambience
The sparkling silver Chandelier fits the fully curtained glass the mable floor were easy to walk on
" wow this is fancy I guess this night won't be bad at all" I said as I sipped my wine
Mom and Mary were already socialising with the rest of the guest, I stood apart from everyone no one wants to really talk to me they all think i'm some kind of bad Omen because of what happened the last time it was held I could remember every detail

"you're nothing but a spoilt brat I bet you did some face reconstruction because you have an ugly character which does not match your face" lily said to me
" what did you just say ? I  did not give her room to reply before I hitted her head with a bottle of wine
She fainted on the spot with blood dripping from her head
Her parents were screaming at my face  while the police cuffed my hands behind my back

Such memory can never be forgotten I  spent 1 month in the cell that is the more reason I  was sent to study in New york so you see why I never wanted to come to this place I snapped out of my thoughts when the host called my brother up the stage to perform "well he volunteered to play
" gather round everyone as we welcome Jason Andrew to play for us " I joined in the clapping as he went up and sat down to play
I heard whispers from the group of women behind me
'what is she doing here? One said
'she is not suppose to be here? Another one said
' didn't you hear she fought with Mr. David son at Maxwells party...
this girl is bad news' i bet she is back in Nigeria because she has done something wrong again?' the other said
They kept talking and when  I could no longer listen
I just turned around and walked out of the hall to the rest room
I was already in tears when I reached the rest room' why do people hate me?' I  asked myself as I looked in the mirror
I left the rest room  and went out side wanting to clear my head
I sat on the wooden  bench outside
"miss are you okay? I heard a voice asked tilting my head side ways I saw Noah standing in a suit with the suit jacket on his shoulders two buttons were undone in his dress shirt
" yes I am fine" its nothing I said to him wiping the tears away
" are you sure? he asked
"yes I  just came to get some air" I lied through my teeth
" well do you want to get out from here we could go somewhere if you really need to clear your head he said smiling at me and for the first time I  smiled at him answering with a
"yes please" 
"okay I  know a place lets go" he said as I  stood up and walked with him to the car

"I said to get some air not get kidnapped by You Noah" I jokingly said as he sped across trees and houses
We ended up on a private property
'jeez I  won't go in there' i said to him looking up at him
"yes you will so lets go" he said and pulled me along
We walked till we got  to the end of the land
" wow this is beautiful I said as I took in the scenery before my eyes" the moon light was  shining against the grasses and the flowers, the water was still and very clear I bent down to deep my hands in the water it was cold against my skin  when I realized what I was doing then I turned around to ask Noah
"why did you bring me here clearly we are not on talking terms so why" I  asked Noah
" you need it and I saw you crying mind to tell me why?" he asked looking at me directly I lost my self in his eyes  then I heard him cleared his throat
" sorry its just that I was feeling left out at  the party ' I said sitting down on the log of wood not minding if it will damage my dress or not
" you're lying and I can tell with the way your eyes shift constantly' he said siting down next to me
"why are people judgemental ? why do they always think that they are right ? I asked him he just kept quiet
I told him everything and what the women said I ended up crying as I finished talking
He rested my  head against his shoulder stroking my back trying to calm me down...
" well you can't blame them, they are wrong to judge you yes but you made it that way, you never know what the consequences of your action might be until you're faced with a bigger challenge
" You know you're rude right?" he asked I raised my head to look at him
"don't get me wrong but it is the truth Okay, do you know how many times i wished I never got to be your personal driver?" he asked
"Do you know how many times I've wanted to hit you? but I  refrained  myself from doing so  Because I know that we are bound to what we do
So Vivienne you can change other peoples perspective about you by doing things the right way
Change all this boss lady attitude
I know sometimes you feel lonely because everyone is scared of you
It will do you much good if you start doing right you understand right?
You're not a bad person I know so start acting like the real you and stop all the bull  shit"  we laughed at his comment
"bull  shit you say I  laughed raising my head from his shoulders
"i'll try and I am sorry for everything I never knew you felt that way " I apologised to him
" its okay we are cool now that you are smiling lets go back to that party of yours and show them who the boss is"  he said standing up and laughing
I stood up and held hands with him as we went back to the party.

After the party we went back home
" Thank you for today" I said to Noah  while  getting down from the car  my mom and siblings were shocked as they looked at me
"sure no problem you're welcome " Noah said before driving to the garage
" goodnight everyone I  kissed my mom and hugged my siblings before climbing the stairs and going up to my room ..

Whooaaa she apologised to Noah yes!!
The real action is about to begin
