The Invitation

Mary stood at her balcony drinking some orange juice when Vivienne came barging in
"hey hey what the hell is that, you can't just come into my room without knocking" Mary said to me
" i'm sorry sis its just that i have been looking for my barbie slipper have you seen it anywhere? I asked her
"No go ask mom and learn how to knock next time" she said ... I sighed and walked out of her room
I mean I wore those slipper yesterday where did I keep them?" I was thinking as i walk towards my room
"excuse me miss" Nuella the maid said
"yes what is it? I asked
"your friends Ciara and Anabelle are waiting for you in the living room" she told me
" tell them to come to my room" I said to her walking off

" your room is still the same just a few changes "Anabelle commented as she took in the new design of my room
I mean its still probably the same just some additional decorations and painting.

We all sat down and talked about everything... things that I missed.
Well with all the stories I really wished I stayed in Nigeria.
Who would believe that Felicia is now a mother it's still shocking to me and whoa Maxwell and Jenny dating what!!! what a combination...I never knew that Ciara was talking to me as she tap me on my shoulder
"hey Maxwell is throwing a party tonight will you attend?" she asked
"damn girl I never miss a party and I think I need it,i've been in this house for too long. What time is it ?" I asked drinking my wine
" 7 we'll meet you there" she replied whiling adjusting her make up in the mirror
"lets go prepare " Anabelle said pulling Ciara up from the bed, they left my room with me seeing them off at the front door.
" See you by 7 Vee" Ciara said
" Sure" I said waving them good bye after I hugged them.
I walked downstairs to the kitchen to get Ice cream from the Fridge then I saw Nuella and Noah smiling and talking to each other ' damn that smile can make a woman fall in love with him, like this guy has the perfect smile and it fits his face.
I got lost looking at him only to realise that they've stopped talking so I jad to pretend like i wasn't looking at them.
"what are you guys doing? aren't you suppose to be working? does my mom pay you to hang around and chit chat? I asked them
"No ma" they both answered
"good go back to your positions, Noah you are not needed in the house now so get out" I told him
"yes ma" he replied not looking at me before going out of the house...
"And Noah get the Lexus ready I will be going out tonight" I said
I walked up the stairs not failing to look back at Nuella she looked scared "well hell ya" she better be

It was time for the party so I had my party girl style on, it was nothing extraordinary just a little touch up. I was dressed in a black short gown not too tight but tight enough to show my curves, I sat down as I wore my red block heels in front of the mirror. I watched myself in the mirror as I finished my make up by applying some red lipstick on my pink lips
" there i'm good to go" I said to myself smacking my lips.

"mom I shouted i'll be leaving now see you when I get back" I walked out of the house towards the Lexus already parked outside I went in and sat down. Noah got into the driver's seat and drove us to Maxwell's mansion which was on the other side of the island...
