Professor Jones: I touched upon the first subject of my class. Vampires have seductive and manipulative personalities. But they aren't the only ones. Witches too are very good at the game.

I get the impression that why saying that professor Jones is staring at me. As if his words were meant for me. Without getting flustered I stare back at him if he is really looking in my direction. I'II quickly be sure. I can't understand why he should be interested in a girl like me? Could it be because of my questions on dream??

Professor Jones: You have to understand that Vampires and Witches in myths and legend are like you and me. They easily blend into their environment. Like I said before. They could very well be sitting close to you in this very room.

This last statement has sudden effect on everyone. We all look at each other suspecting each and everyone of us... But for professor Jones I can be proud of him. He knows exactly how to relax the atmosphere.

Sarah: I love his sense of humor,this guy is brilliant.

Allison: No need to go that far Sarah,he's a teacher,he knows how to talk to  students because of it's job too!

Ever since this class started,Sarah had eyes only for our teacher and you can't say she is very discreet about it.

Sarah: Watch me snub him.

Allison: What do you mean?

Sarah: I mean tease him... He keeps looking over at us. I think he likes you.

Sarah winks at me while smirking.

Allison: It's probably because I'm obviously a better student than you!

With a smile Sarah nudges me in the ribs. Sarah quickly lift her hands up and professor Jones invites her to speak.

Sarah: Excuse me professor but if vampires are possibly hiding among us as students. I guess they could be among teachers too?

Professor Jones: probably its to be considered, but I suggest we talk about it next time.

Once again the students burst into nervous laughter. I think I am the only one who doesn't find it funny. I can't help but think about the bartholys...and all the mysteries around them... I need to know more! I need to get answers to my questions. I take my courage in both hands and head for the platform. I really need him to help me for  better understandings in my dreams. There's not a minute to loose.

Allison: Excuse me sir you know I'm new here...and I have a lot of questions, I...

Professor Jones:  Tell me where do you come from? A subject course like mine must be pretty surprising. What made you choose this class?

I'm a little bewildered by his question,but I try not to betray my astonishment.

Allison: let's just say I've always loved watching scary movies.

It's a pretty plain answer. I know but what more can I say!

Professor Jones: I understand that you live with the Bartholys, is that right?

Allison: yes I'm their new au pair.

I wonder what he's getting at. But I also note that things go around quickly... around here.

Professor Jones: OK, very good. As for my class. I can only insist on you being attentive and studious. I know my subject can seem light sometimes. But its very rich and offers a wealth of knowledge that can be used at any time. I'm sure you will be assiduous. You seems to have predispositions.

Allison: I'm sorry but what do you mean?

The teacher stares at me in silence. I feel that I have no answers to my question today. Is he thinking about the gift Nicolae told me about...? I stare at the professor feeling a little troubled by his words. I tell myself that it would be perfect timing to talk about my dreams. I'm sure he could help me see things more clearly. Or at least bring me an outside vision on it all.

Allison: Can I see you a minute I would like to ask you some questions...!

Professor Jones: Do you want us to talk about your dreams again? I thought back to the conversation we had last time when you told me about your dreams. By the way call me Sebastian if you don't mind?

I frown a little  Professor Jones is my teacher. This familiarity and weird... Does he expect the same from me...?? He notice my confusion. A funny smile come over his lips.

Professor Jones: I don't expect you to do the same during my classes,but outside it, it'II simplify our exchanges. In short I taught back to your story of... deja vu that you told me about...

Suddenly I hesitate... I don't know what I can really tell my teacher. A lot has happened since then. Especially Nicolae's revelation about my "gift". But I don't know if I should tell the professor about it or not. For now I prefer to let him continue without saying anything.

Professor Jones: I'm here to help you. I think I understand what's happening to you and I'd like to talk to you about it. After that we are free to do what you want. But at least you have an outside view on things.

Allison: Go ahead professor I'm listening.

Professor Jones: I told you as long as we are not in the class. You can call me Sebastian. It'II make things easier. It won't change the teacher/student relationship we have. But I think it'II be easier to talk to me.

It seems to me quiet natural to call him Sebastian. And I immediately accept. After all it's not like we have age huge difference.

Allison: Well OK, I'm listening then Sebastian.

Professor Jones:Dreams are sometimes quite complex as you probably already noticed. You told me that you saw someone that you later met in real life. Is that right?

I just nod to avoid interrupting him.

Professor Jones: You know that in my culture. It's considered as facts that each and everyone of us lives more than onces. Reincarnation is found in many religious. You don't have to believe it. Of course but that could explain a few things. It could be that if your dream it's because you lived a strong story together in another life. That's why his face appeared to you so distinctly,even though in your present life you haven't met him yet.

I always thought that life wasn't unique and that we all had the opportunity to be reborn further in time. Even this interpretation is a little strange  it seems plausible to me and I want to believe it.

Professor Jones: For better understanding, you must accept that we are indeed destined to live many lives. I will make reincarnation the subject of one of my future lectures. I will invite you to be very attentive. I think it will help you to lift the veil on some of your questions. For my part I attach great importance to it. I'm absolutely convinced that we are not destined to only live once.

I pout,I find his explanation disturbing and I don't know what to think. For Nicolae I'm a great medium who has an out of the ordinary gift and can see fragments of someone else's past life. And now for professor Jones,I knew Nicolae In a past life. I wonder if I'm not going nuts just like everyone else around here.

Professor Jones: May I ask you who the person you saw in your dream is?...
