Chapter five - Just an average day of being a doctor

Just a little heads up so u dont get confused.

Because there's a married gay couple mentioned down there. I used the term ( example ) Mr. Mikey way instead of Mrs. Mikey way. Cause u know, they're both guys so Mrs would be weird.

so technically when I say Mr. Mikey way I don't actually mean Mikey way . I mean Mikey way's partner that's married to him.

○ 1st of December 2014 ○

16 years ago I did the right choice by leaving to study abroad in Germany . Life has been pretty good to me since then.  I came back from Germany 5 years ago as a certified doctor and surgeon . I was lucky that it didn't take me as long as some people would. I guess it was only fair considering I spent all day and night studying my butts off so I wouldn't have to retake any subjects . I would say that my hard work really did paid off considering I was one of the top 3 medical students in the whole of germany.

5 years into the field of medicine and I'm now a succesful and well known doctor working under in my mom's hospital . Of course my fame came to me due to people knowing me as the famous tattoo-ed doctor following in his mother's footsteps. Not that I'm complaining , I make pretty good cash and own a pretty nice bungalow in Malibu.

I feel pretty on top of the world right now , even more than I did in my high school years. Except there's one thing that's missing . That special someone. It wasn't like I've never tried dating again , because I did. I met some girls in Germany , went on dates with a couple of them and a couple of one night stands here and therr, but that's about it . I try to stray away from guys , I feel like that's the safest thing to do . Though I don't really bother on that anymore because my final conclusion is that no one could ever replace my beloved .

" Dude , you alright ? " Jaime , my assistant or if you want to put it in another term, my nurse asked me while pouring himself a cup of coffee in the staff's pantry .

Jaime , also formally Mr. Mike Fuentes' formal high school crush , works as my assistant now. Funny thing was , I honestly didn't expect any familiar faces in Heidelberg University , Germany. So you could have imagine how shock I was when I saw the spiky haired ball of sunshine in my dorm room , sticking posters onto the wall. Needless to say, we became the closest of friends.

" Yeah yeah , I'm good . "

He raised an eyebrow and pulled out the chair opposite me and sat down, " You sure? Cause you sure stirred the shit out of that coffee " He pointed out .

I looked down to my cup of coffee and saw that I've been stirring it for so long with so much strength and speed  that it all spilled all over the table.

" Ah fuck . " I lifted my arm that was previously resting on the table but now the sleeves on the freshly bleached lab coat was all stained . I took the coat off and slung it over my shoulder leaving me in my white V neck tee , my black ripped skinny jeans with my sleeve tattoos exposed and my stethoscope around my neck. I'm not exactly the most formal doctor here .

" You look like a porn star . with that whole bad ass naughty doctor thing you have going on "

I rolled my eyes at him and laughed at his statement . You'd think that I would be disturbed or affected by his comments but try having him as your room mate and comments like this are normal , although sometimes they do get annoying  " Whatever hime . I'm going to head back to my office. "

" Remember , you have an appointment at 2.15 with .... " he paused and wiggled his eyebrows at me , giving me his famous perve face , " Gielle " He said in a sing song voice .
