Carly's P.O.V

my so called mother stared at me like I have grown 5 heads right in front of her.

"I-I-how-how-wh-who told you that?" She stuttered while she blinked rabidly.

"Sammy."

She just stared at me more.

"How-how long have you known?"

"That doesn't matter. I want to know why you didn't tell me." I countered.

"I will explain everything to you when your father comes back."

Jake's P.O.V

"You are so whipped." My beta said.

I narrow my eyes.

"Says the guy who even wore a summer dress for his mate because she said so." I countered back.

"OH COME ON! HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU HAVE TO REMIND ME?" He whined.

"As many times as it takes for you to know that you are the truly whipped one."

"I give up." He sigh.

"We have a meeting in half an hour." He changed the subject.

"Okay." I said.

I notice something strange. John was looking so nervous.

I lean back into my chair and cross my arms.

"What is it?" I asked

He looked up. "Ah you noticed? Truly my alpha."

I sigh. "Seriously what is it?"

He smiled. "Jenny is pregnant! !" He shouted.

"My mate is pregnant! !" He screamed.

I scorn. "Sure, go ahead and just deaf me."

I rowed my eyes.

"But congratulations on your first baby." I said sincerely.

"Thanks. Even though the baby haven't arrive yet, I feel like a daddy already." He confessed.

"I guess the future beta will be older then the future alpha."

He smirked. "From what I see, much older would be a better phase."

He just have to irritate me every chance he gets.

"The only reason is just because Jenny is older than you. Being in the last year in college, she is ready for a child. Carly is only 16." I said.

"Excuses excuses" He sang.

"Jesus! Stop acting like a girl! Why am I stuck with such a childish beta?"

"You know you don't mind" He continued to sing.

I sighed. I sigh too much these days.

I checked my watch.

"Its time to go to the meeting. Get everything we need and lets go."

"Okay." John agreed.

Meanwhile~

Carly's P.O.V

We waited for about 5 minutes and my dad came back. He was surprised when he saw our grim faces.

"What's wrong?!" He said while looking at us worried.

"Honey... Carly knows..."

His expression changed.

"Carly... we are so sorry we didnt tell you this. We love you like you are our own.

Please, forgive us for not telling you."

"Yea, honey, we love you so much. We wanted you to feel normal. I didn't want you different from the other kids in school."

"Mom, dad....I get it..but please tell me. Do you know my real parents?"

"Baby...we have no idea who your real parents are."

"Your father and I couldn't have children and we desperately wished for a beautiful child. Instead, we found that beautiful child at our door steps." My mom explained while happy tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Thats it!? There's nothing else?!" I asked surprised. That can't be. I need to know what the dream is telling me.

I had a feeling Jake might be able to help being the alpha and all.

"Mom, dad, I forgive you. I understand all your reasons."

I quickly hug them both with a kiss on their cheek and rushed off.

I need to get to the bottom of this.
