chapter 24 : the happy family

"Suvarna? Where is Kartik? I haven't seen him in a long time. Where did he go?"Manish asked

"Manish Ji Kartik went to meet Naira so don't worry!"Suvarna said

"What?He went to meet Naira? For what?"Suhasini asked

Just then when Suvarna was about to answer Kartik and Naira arrived walking hand in hand.

When Suvarna saw them she was very happy while the other's were happy to but were confused with how this happened.

"I am so happy...my two kids are together again and I can't control my happiness!"Suvarna said happily and went towards them hugging them.

"What are you doing outside here huh? Come on inside now!!"she said happily pulling them inside.

"Welcome back beta!"Manish said hugging them both

"Thanks papa!"Naira said with a smile. They went to seek suhasini's blessings and once they did the hugged surekha and akhilesh who were also very happy for them.

"I will inform your family members too Naira. I will ask them to come for lunch tomorrow!"Suvarna said

"Okay Maa!"Naira said with a happy smile and looked at Kartik.

"Naira come with me..I have a small surprise for you!"Suvarna said with a smile and was about to go with her but stopped when Kartik spoke

"Maa this is not fair. Now since Naira is back you are acting like I don't exist anymore! And what's with this surprise huh? Can't you tell it for us too?"Kartik asked folding his hands to his chest

"My lovely son..have some patience. You will find out about it soon. But don't you dare come up to your room till I come down! If you do I will make you sleep in the guest bedroom for tonight!"Suvarna said

"No no no! I don't want to sleep in the guest room...!"Kartik said smiling sheepishly while Naira blushed and everyone else laughed at him

"Then wait here only for sometime!"Suvarna said

"Chalo naira! Let's go!"she said and left. Suvarna brought Naira up to her and kartik's room.

When Naira came in she was shocked when she saw the complete room decorated beautifully.

"Maa..what is all this?"Naira asked

"A small gift for you and Kartik behalf of me. When Kartik told me you called him I felt you will work everything out and so I decided to do this for you too...!"Suvarna said

"Maa thank you so much for this all!"Naira said with a smile hugging her

"Naira...I am happy I could at least do this for you two!"Suvarna said

"Maa please forget about what happened in the past. Me and Kartik started a new chapter of our life together now forgetting everything and leaving it all back in the past. That will happen for us too so please don't say sorry again...!"Naira said with a small smile.

"Our whole family is lucky to have you Naira..!"Suvarna said with a smile.

"And look I have kept a saree for you there so go change. After you get ready we can call Kartik!"suvarna said and Naira nodded with a smile and went to change.
