She took the cookies out if the oven, tikki flew by a huge smile on her face.

"I cant wait to go back to Paris" she happily spoke

Marinette chuckled "I get what you mean, I really miss Paris"

Tikki flew up to Marinette hugging a side of her cheek "awe Marinette"

Marinette just smiled at the little goddess. "So what are you going to do when you get to Paris, Marinette"

She sighed "I obviously have to see how everyone is doing, I think ill also have to go see what hawkmoth is up to, and if my hunch is right I'll find a lead to something."

Tikki hummed, "is that really all you were planning on doing" marinette walked over to one of her cabinets taking out a few sugar cubes

"I was also going to see Master Fu, it's about time I face reality, and I'm going to see my parents, I haven't seen them in to long, but I dont want them to know I'm coming"

Tikki flew over to her bar table sitting down. "Now I believe you're telling me the whole truth, but do you think that your parents will be okay with you"

Marinette looked to the side, she moved to gotham because she wanted to get as far away as she could from her parents, even though she wanted to tell herself that it was because of the school's deep down she knew she was lying.

She loved them, it's just relationship had become more and more strayed until it was practically none existent.

"I'm not sure, that's why I have a hotel reservation" Tikki sighed.

"Dont worry Marinette, I'm sure things will be alright"

She gave her a small smile as Marinette walked over to the miraculous box sticking up the glasses.

"Hey Kaliki," she greeted the horse goddess

Kali greeted her back, around 10 minutes later Marinette zipped her duffel bag, locked her doors and closed her windows and called her transformation for both Tikki and Kalki.

She walked through the portal, looking around she smiled at the familiar sight. "La tour Eiffel" (the Eiffel Tower).

She called off her transformation with Kalki, it was around 8pm so it was drak, she opted to patrol for a few hours then go to her hotel to sleep.

She hadn't exactly considered time zones. Maybe if she was lucky she would spot one of the others.

She opened her duffel bag taking out the container holding the sugar cubes giving one to kalki before taking out her yoyo and putting the bag around her chest with the glasses as well.

She threw the yoyo pulling it. She smiled at the familiar feeling. She hadn't realised how much she missed doing this in Gotham.

Sure she could sway around the city, but the buildings there were taller and there wasnt really anything she could let her yoyo cling to.

The air in Gotham was also considerably worse. She felt the cold air hit against her face as she flipped around, listening for anything.

From time to time people would see her and cheer her on.

One thing that she found weird was she didnt see anyone. She had been out around the city for an hour now and she didnt met anyone o the team yet.

"Huh" she spoke out loud as she landed on a building.

She opened her yoyo up calling Adrien, if anyone were to be awake it would be him she figured, and he should have been in Paris already by now.

She let it ring for a few before chat picked up. "Hey m'lady, is everything good in Gotham"

Marinette was relieved he answered. "Hey chat, there's nothing wrong in Gotham, well not in that way, anyways I'm actually In Paris right now"

"You are, you should have told one of us, I'll send you the location of the trams headquarters."

"Okay, I'll see you there" she cut the line and looked at the location following it. 'What do they mean by headquarters' last she knew they just met of a rooftop and did their thing.

Marintte looked at the new street she was on, it was empty, she felt the cold air brush against her cheek, she missed having the even colder air of Paris. She looked around and waited, there wasn't anything, or anyone.

She turned abruptly as she heard someones footsteps. "Adrien?" She asked slowly as the figure got closer.

"Oh thank god It you, I wouldnt want to explain to a civilian why I'm in this shady corner" he joked, Marinette let out a sigh of relief. She walked closer to him. "You didn't wait to long right"

Marinette shook her head no. "Okay then" he took her hand and dragged her to this building. The building itself was big, it looked rundown, and not usable at all, from what she could tell there weren't any lights that could work. As Adrien pulled her through the door she expected to see everyone.

But instead she was greeted by nothing, it was a rundown building inside and out. "Wait where is everyone" she stops, Adrien gives her a smile.

"You'll see" he takes her hand again dragging her. He gets to a wall and smiles at her, even though she can't really see much. He puts his hands down on the wall and pushed it, a hatch on the other side of the wall opened and he walked through it.

Marinette was temporarily blinded as she entered the hatch from the sudden change of lighting. When her vision came back she saw everyone smiling at her.

"Mari" chole spoke as she ran up to the girl and gave her a hug. Marintte hugged her back, but her attention was diverted to the room.

"Hey" she hugged chole slightly tighter "how is everyone" she finally turned her attention to the people in the room.

"Meh" she geared Kagami say as she walked closer to Marinette.

"Same honestly" Luka replied as he pointed her thumb in kagami's direction.

Chloe let go of Marinette. "So how are things in Paris"

Luka sighed flopping down of one of the beanbags. "It's been awfully quiet, we got the information you sent, and I have a hypothesis on why there hasn't really been akuma attacks."the four others walked to where Luka was sitting. "If you say his making a lot of akumas for the 'light' and he doesn't have Myura to help him out, what's the whole point of having attacks."

"True" marinette spoke, she hadn't exactly been called because of akuma attacks, maybe Luka was right. "So you think he's just waiting"

"Yeah" he sighed.

"But right now that isn't our biggest concern" Kagami spoke.

"Yeah, Adrikins informed us on the fact Gabriel is hawkmoth and how he might know you guys identities, we have to make sure you're safe."

"Speaking of which" Marinette added. "Batman sent someone to help you guys out, I won't be here for very long, I'll be leaving Sunday night, he sent red robin, he is very smart, a great fighter and very kind, so yeah."

"Wait hold up, batman?" Adrien chuckled at Kagami's response.

"Yeah, you didn't actually think Adrien and I went on missions by ourselves did you"

"No of course not, it's just, how did you get batman"

Marinette shrugged "it's just the luck of being in Gotham I guess"

Well turns out after that first update I have been kidda inspired, so here's another chapter, you're welcome.
