Part 24

((Narrators P.O.V) The one that talks way to much)

Wayne manor was quiet.

I'm guessing by that statement you can guess that there was something wrong, but no one really wanted to be there, and even if they did no one was allowed there because of what happened at the carnival a few days prior.

You may be asking yourself, 'what happened, when last chapter ended there was a cute 'daminette' moment how could it have gone wrong' well let's take a dive in a little something called memory lane.

In this lane we will see what happens when you leave a large group of young adults -some with superpowers and all who at least fought crime once- hyped on sugar alone in Gotham.

(Flashback)

When we left off last chapter Damian held Marinettes hand as they watched the sky change while they sat at the top of the Ferris wheel seat situated a couple hundred feet above the ground.

The moment was so magical, and perfect, until Marinette started talking.
"Do you think the plan would work, do you think we can-"

Before she could answer though Damian started talking.
"Angel, calm down, I know we will be able to get him"

It reassured Marinette a little to know that Damian thought that everything would be okay. In a way she was trying to tell herself that.
"How are you Damian, I mean, you didn't really tell me how your feeling you know from the whole infinity island thing"

Damian let go of her hand, not in a rude way or anything, he did it quite slowly in fact.
"Oh I'm doing fine, it's just my psychopathic demon of a grandfather is still alive"

I'm going to be honest with you, Damian really needs to work on his sarcasm.
Anyways while the two of them were talking about the plan Jon and Adrien were looking at the view making small talk.

Nothing bad there right? Correct you would be, the problem came with the two idiots formally known as Roy Harper and Jason Todd. Going against what they told Lisa they wouldn't do, they may have ended up setting fire to a tent.

"Hey Dami, do carnivals usually have bond fires"

Marinette had diverted her attention to the glowing red light on the ground, the one that seemed to spread and fast. "No they usually don't why do you ask angel"

Marinette pointed down at the light before them. "So why is there this fire on the ground" Damian looked down at the ground to see the ever growing fire.

"We need to get everyone off the Ferris wheel, and we need to do it now". Damian took off his turtle neck revealing his robin uniform.

"How do you"

"Don't ask please"

Marinette shrugged her shoulders as she yelled 'Tikki spots on' as the blinding reddish light disappeared Marinette saw Damian dressed in his robin uniform completely.

"Where do you, you know what now is not the time." Damian gave her a nod as he grappled to another cart, Marinette swinged her yo-yo, and landed next to Damian. "We need you two to suit up, there's a fire and we need you to get as many people as you can off the wheel."

The two males shook their heads both changing in an instant. "So bug and I will take to right, while you take the left, we need to take people off at the same time so that the wheel doesn't loose balance, so keep your coms on." They shook their heads as Damian tossed them coms.

He looked over at Marinette. "We need to work in sync, so at three we jump and grapple back to our cart" Marinette nod at him. "One" everyone takes in a deep breath. "Two" he looks at Marinette holding her hand. "Three"

Let's take a look at what happened on the ground shall we, I feel like it would be more interesting, and by the way, your welcome.

Somehow Roy and Jason set fire to one of the tents. And now they were running away from the problem, don't worry though Lisa found them.

Wally zipped through the crowd getting everyone out of the tent, he was lucky enough to be fast enough to change with out people noticing. But the gust of wind from his running gave more oxygen to the fire letting it grow and spread.

"Someone should probably call the fire department."

"You think"
The batfam quickly changed in their uniforms, evacuating the area as the fire spread from the ground to the sky as it climbed the ropes and paper, posters that littered the sky.

It wasn't helping that everyone was yelling and running in all directions yelling, it wasn't helping that things were falling down from the sky, while still on fire, it wasn't helping that there was so much smoke that everyone was starting to feel suffocated.

Some of the rides started falling down due to the heat from the fire, every hero there was doing something to help, even the two idiots that started it.

"Why is the fire department not here yet"

"It's gotham, did you actually expect them to be here in time"

"What the hell is wrong with this hell whole of a city, now I'm kind of great full we only have hawkmoth to deal with"

"Three" the two of them jumped at the same time grappling to the cart, when they landed the wheel shook a little loosing a little bit of balance. "Are you two ready" Marinette spoke through the comms.

"Yes" was the response they got.

"Again at three we jump off the wheel and hope we don't hit the ground" Damian looked at Marinette. "You two want to count"

"O-okay, 1.........2........3" Marinette and Damian jumped down, Marinette throwing her yo-yo around a tree, and Damian, shooting his grappling hook towards the tree.

Jon and Adrien jumped, Adrien extended his baton digging it into the ground while it extended, Jon jumped hoping that his flying wouldn't fail him now -it didn't-

.........................

Let's just say that what was happening on the ground was very messed up. The hero's did as much as they could, I mean none of them are fire men so, yeah. Damian, Marinette, Jon and Adrien, we're doing what they could taking the people off and taking them a safe distance away from the site. Once all four of them were done they moved on to help the others.

Jon used his ice breath, and it helped diminish the fire, toi the point were the fire ended, the group got together to make so no one was to injured, well the group was faced with the one and only very pissed off batman. "Who started this" batman glared at Jason and Roy, he knew it was them, they always did stupid stuff .

The fire department decided to show up, there was just nothing to deal with batman talked to them and in 10 mins they were gone. " so no one wants to talk, fine, you are all banned to step foot in the manor until I find out who started this"

"Does that include me"Lisa walked up to the group, Bruce turned around.
"Tyler?"
"Bingo"
"Yes it includes you" everyone stayed quiet not wanting to upset Bruce even more.

Bruce paid for the damage that was caused, it was not cheap, thank god he's a billionaire.

So that is why Wayne manor was quiet well that is until this moment.

Someone knocked on the door.
