Part 4

Marinette got to Gotham only for her smile to turn into a small frown -which did not suit her character- as soon as she saw the grey, dull sky, it had reminded her of what had happened only a week prior, at this point she asked herself why she came here but knew that it was to late to turn back.

'Why exactly did I come to Gotham of all places' she kept thinking, 'oh yeah, that's right, university'. She stood by the airport doors, waving her hand calling for a cab.

Suprisingly enough it didnt take long for her to find one, even though she didnt really trust the car not the driver she still got in.

The taxi ride had been silent for the most part, the taxi driver only asking her where she was going to, not that marinette minded to be frank, she rather it be quiet then, embarrassing herself, by saying something she probably shouldn't have.

The drive wasn't very long, about 10 minutes, she paid the fair, putting a fake smile on her face, before sighing as she looked at the building. It didn't seem to bad to be honest, it seemed moderately safe, and quite clean.

She got to her condo (no she could not afford a condo but once her uncle Jagged heard what she was doing her bought her one to thank MDC for the costumes and album art work that she had done for him over the years.) she unpacked and fell straight on her bed and slept she had a month before the university started again.

Turns out Joker isnt a big fan of education, seeing as he blew it up. Thankfully it had been at the end of the day so there were no casualties. The people of Gotham thanked Bruce wayne for kindly funding the reconstruction.

So she decided that she would just get over the jet lag and get familiar with the city. It's not like she had anything better to do. If she was lucky she may even see batman and robin in action.

She kinda looked up to robin, because when she was first shown the earrings she had no idea what to do, she found it comforting that there was another kid that would fight crime if sort of gave her motivation to not give up.

The next day Marinette forced herself up telling herself that she would get use to the streets of Gotham, -a very bad idea, but still-

she had dragged herself out of bed, forcing herself to walk to her kitchen, to make herself some food, she wrote down a shopping list, realis9ng that really her breakfast would consist of protein bars she had brought over from paris, and to get ready.

She handed Tikki a cookie l, she hadn't expressly made that one herself, it was still cookies she had bought from Paris. Tikki gladly took the cookie though.

Tikki watched her, a glint in her eyes, she was happy her gardian was starting to be more 'on time' even though there wasn't anything in particular she had to assist. Marinette, got out of the shower, getting dressed, her clothing being something that no one should be wearing in Gotham.

No one in their right mind would be wearing a bright pink sweater in gotham, there wasnt anything wrong with the look,it was just unusual.

she didn't really care though, she liked her outfit she packed a bad full of things she knew her clumsy self would need, -water bottles, a book, some money, a spare med kit- she looked at some of the cookies she had given Tikki, packingsome for the little goddess for throughout the day, but the univers just hated her, why was that? Of course there was an akuma attack in Paris why wouldn't there.

She had heard her phone buzzing she took it off of charge, sighing as she saw that Adrien had just sent her a message. It didn't bug her at first, she just didn't know how to speak to him, not in some sense of the way? It was complicated, she looked at the message, nearly throwing her phone across the room. 'Of course when I want to do something with my day hawkmoth just has to ruin it.' She thought to herself.

She put her bag off to a corner in her house, probably never to be seen again, Tikki flew to her, a questioning look on her face, Marinette sighed simply saying 'hawkmoth' for Tikki to understand what was happening. She called her transformation, going over to the miraculous box, she opened it, taking out the horse miraculous. -Kalki-

She still hadn't gotten over what had happened it took her all her will but she used the horse miraculous to find chat waiting for her and that there was an akuma and an amuck not only that but the holder of the peacock miraculous(myura) was there I don't think that she wanted to be found she was hiding behind a building while all of that could have just been a trick from volpiena they decided not to risk it. Chat noir being used to his role in their 'dynamic duo,' went to distract the amuck and akuma while ladybug went after myura.

As soon as Myura found out that she was being chased she 'killed' the amuck so she could focus on one thing getting the hell away from ladybug, she ran and was grateful that her kwami gave her the ability to run faster and longer, not only that but in civilian form she was quite athletic. Even though there were may more moments where she would usually faint due to her miraculous being damaged.

Ladybug quickly purified the feather.

Ladybug had tried to catch Myura with her yo-yo but Myura dodged it, that happened quite a lot to the point where ladybug was out of breath. Myura also feeling quite tired told laydybug "I'll give you a deal we fight no yo-yo no nothing just our miraculouses if you win you can take my miraculous if I win I'll take yours."

Ladybug had to try fight the want to roll her eyes 'cliché much'
She reluctantly agreed she had gotten much better at fighting and that could be her best chance of getting her miraculous. "Yes I'll do it no cheating or then you will need to go against me and chat" . 'Can't hurt time be cliché back, right?

Luckily the Akuma was Mr.rat so chat took him out pretty easily ladybug purified it her and Myura shook hands and started to fight, ladybug through punches at Myura but she dogged all of them until ladybug got her with a punch in her solar plexus and then another in her liver. Myura was out of breath she then kicked her in the neck and knocked her out she took her yo-yo and wrapped it around her so if she woke up she couldn't get free.

Ladybug caught myura she was at ladybugs mercy and knocked out, she waited for chat to be there before she took her miracuols because that got them one step closer to finding hawkmoth but once they took her miraculous they found out it was Natalie, the women that had cared for chat who was his mother once his og mother went missing she was the one that had helped to cause so much pain and destruction.

Adrien couldn't take it he jumped away not wanting to go to his house he went to the Eiffel Tower where he cried all night Mari had wanted to speak to him but felt like if she showed up she would be obligated to stay

"Marinette"asked Tiki in a concerned voice "you should go talk to chat myura was someone close to him and that could also leave the possibility of Gabriel Agrest being hawkmoth"

Marinette sighed "I know tiki but if I went back I would feel obligated to stay and I would never be able to leave, I will go talk to him but not right now maybe in a week or so when he calms down" tiki sighed in concern

"Whatever you say Marinette"
