"Can I come in?" Someone asks from outside of the cave. I recognise the voice and a huge smile appears on my face.
"Come in." I reply.
"Octavia!" Lola shouts when she sees her, running up to her and clinging on her leg. I chuckle a bit.
"Hey tiger." Octavia greets her, picking her up.
My smile falls when I see that something is up with Octavia.
"What's wrong?" I ask her. Lola turns around in Octavia's grip, so she's facing her. Also worried about Octavia.
Octavia puts Lola on the ground and sits down next to me. "I had a fight with my brother."
"About what?" I ask.
She hesitantly looks at the ground, so I quickly take my question back. "Ow, it's okay, you don't have to answer me."
She looks at Lola for a second, who seems to get what's going on. "I'm gonna go play outside." She says, running off.
"I tried to tell him we should let the grounder go, but he didn't listen. He ended up telling me his life ended the day I was born."
"Where's my bow?" I ask, mostly to myself.
She starts to panick. "Wow, you are not shooting my brother!"
"Why not? I shot Clarke once." I casually reply.
A small smile forms on her face. "You did?"
"Yeah, when I was three. She stole my teddybear."
The small smile transforms into a laugh. "With an actual bow?"
"Yep, that was the day we ended liking each other."
She laughs. "I can imagine."
"By the way, I'm glad you were born."
Her eyes meet mine and my heart skips a beat. But then we hear a loud thunder. "Get in the dropship!" Clarke shouts from outside.
We share a worried look and start to run to the dropship. Before I go in I realise Lola went to play outside. "Lola!" I shout.
I first check the ship, but she's not in there. I run outside and look for her there, while shouting her name.
If I don't find her soon, I think I'll have a heartattack. After a few minutes of walking in the storm, I hear a faint crying. I run in the direction of the crying and I find Lola behind a rock. She's shaking and holding her legs in between her arms, while crying.
I kneel down in front of her. She doesn't seem to have noticed me. "Lola, hey, I'm here." I say, pulling her in for a hug.
She clings to me and whispers: "Storm, I'm scared."
I stand up with her in my arms and I carry her to the dropship, while repeating that everything is gonna be alright and that I'm here.
Once we're inside, Lola's crying has lessened, but she's still shaking. "I thought you'd love a storm." I playfully whiper in her ear.
"Me too." She whispers back.
I see Finn on the table with a knife in him, Lola sees it too and she clings to me even tighter.
I also hear Raven calling the Ark. I realise that might get her mind off of the storm outside and the injured Finn on the table. "You wanna go to Raven, see if she can call the Ark?"
She looks around the room, her eyes land on the girl at the radio. "Is that Raven?" She asks.
"Yep, wanna go?"
