As their court date drew closer and closer , Harry couldn't help but feel on edge. It was as though every piece of him was begging him to run away, to hide again, to keep his son safe. But it wasn't just him and his son anymore ... he had his Louis , his new baby , his family... he couldn't run. He wouldn't.
He hadn't seen or heard from either of Aiden's parents since that day his mother turned up on their doorstep. That alone was enough to cause him far too much anxiety.

"Haz baby, can you please sit down." Louis begged , they where currently waiting for a meeting with their lawyer.

"I can't Lou, sorry it's just I feel like I'm going insane when I sit down." Harry sighed.

"You're not going insane it's normal to be nervous... we only have two days until you're face to face with the people who made the past year and a half of your life hell."

"Don't remind me please."

"I know it's hard Haz, but this meeting should help us understand what's going to happen a lot better."

"How? How exactly will it help? Louis you're pregnant! They're going to use it against us ! I just know it! They'll say that we're unfit to raise him whilst you're pregnant and that he'll be pushed aside!"

"They're not going to do that! It makes zero sense! Plenty of people have children one after the other! It's normal! Shit happens."

"Oh I really love how optimistic you're being Lou , but it's bullshit and you know it." Harry grumbled.
"This is so not happening to me... it's just insane!"

"Babe you have to face up to this! You can't just keep pretending it's not happening." Louis begged.

"I'm not pretending it's not happening Louis! I'm just avoiding talking about it!" He snapped.
"You have no fucking clue what this is like for me! Not a single fucking clue!"

That caused the older lad to pause, his face scrunching up in hurt.
"Sorry for trying to help you out H, forgot you're so used to doing shit on your own now days, used to running away,  that's your thing."

"That's not fair!" Harry argued.

"Not fair?! You just completely took my head off for no reason!" The pregnant lad voiced.

"I'm sorry! You have no idea how stressed I am right now! This is my son Louis! My child! The one person I love more than anything and I could lose him!"

"OUR SON!" Louis shouted.

Harry froze , he hadn't realised the words had left his mouth until Louis pointed it out. Now he felt like complete and utter shit.
"I-I'm so sorry... shit Lou I'm sorry." He panted.

He's so stupid sometimes , why does he let things get to him like that.

"I-I can't believe you just said that so casually H." Louis whispered. "The only person you love.. what about me? What about this little one? Are we fuck all to you now?" He expressed.

"No!" Harry cried out.

"Then why say it? God H, you need to think before you speak ok? No matter how angry you are! You can't say shit like that to me."

"I'm sorry , I didn't mean it.. I'm just- Louis what are we going to do?" He asked , voice cracking.
"I'm so scared."

"Come ere'." Louis soothed , his heart breaking at the sight of Harry's tears. All his previous anger forgotten. Standing the pull the tall lad into his embrace.

He was now sixteen weeks along , his small bump finally prominent enough to push against Harry's flat stomach. The younger lad finally getting his figure back after five months. It felt nice to know their baby was actually there , waiting to be ready to meet them.
"This baby needs us to stay strong , stay together... they need us to fight for their big brother and that's exactly what we will do! We will win!"
