Chapter 12

"Hey, boys," Hoseok smiled his warm heart-shaped smile as the Kim family walked inside. JungKook was half asleep leaning on Namjoon and Yeonjun was passed out on Seokjin's shoulder.

It was too early for any of the boys' liking, but Namjoon and Seokjin had to be at court at 9 am, so they had to drop off the boys at 8.

"You guys can go back to sleep in the guest room," Hoseok offered, clearly seeing how they didn't want to have to get up this early in the summer. They nodded, Taehyung taking Yeonjun from Seokjin, and waved to their parents.

"You guys be good. We will be back later," Namjoon said, going around and kissing all his sons' foreheads. Seokjin hugged them all before he and Namjoon left to go to court.

Hoseok watched the boys walk upstairs to the guest room and softly close the door behind them. It was 8:30 so he decided he would make breakfast. Hoseok wasn't the greatest cook, but he could make some pretty good biscuits and gravy.

Anytime Hoseok is the first one up, that's what he cooks. Luckily Yeji and Jihoon love biscuits and gravy or else he wouldn't know what to make.

Hoseok was just finishing up with the food when he heard footsteps and giggles. He smiled, automatically knowing who it was, but pretended like he didn't know anyone was there. He heard giggling again and soon felt tiny arms around his leg.

"Boo!" He looked down to see Yeji with her messy bed hair sticking up in every direction. He put his hand over his heart and shook his head

"Ji! You scared me!" Yeji giggled again and reached her arms up, indicating she wanted to be held. Hoseok smiled and picked her, going back to making everyone's plates.

"Ooh! Biscuits! Yay!"

"Ji, can you go wake everyone up for me?" Yeji nodded and ran upstairs as soon as Hoseok put her down.

In no time five males were walking into the kitchen. Jungkook was still half asleep, Jimin had to help him to the table. Jihoon was dragging Yoongi to the kitchen, who was trying to smooth out his messy hair and rub the sleepiness from his eyes.

"Where's Tae and Yeonjun?" Hoseok questioned as he passed out plates of food.

"Tae said he'd stay with Yeonjun in case he wakes up and gets scared since he doesn't know Appa and Dad left," Jimin answered, thanking his uncle for the food afterward. Hoseok nodded, walking behind Yoongi's chair and wrapping his arms around his husband's shoulders.

"Did Ji wake you up too early?" Hoseok mumbled into Yoongi's ear, the older male nodding in response.

"It's my first day off in a week and she came in there bouncing all over me," He softly chuckled and shook his head. "And I completely forgot we had to watch Namjoon and Jin-Hyung's kids."

"If you're tired then eat and go back to sleep then, Baby."

"And leave you with 6 kids? I know you wouldn't forgive me later," Hoseok sighed and shrugged.

"I guess you're right," He softly kissed Yoongi's neck before standing up and getting his own plate, sitting down beside Jihoon. Everything was peaceful until there was a scream from upstairs. Hoseok immediately bolted upstairs as Yoongi and the kids followed behind him.

Hoseok entered the guest room where the scream emitted from and saw Yeonjun curled up in Taeyung's lap, mumbling incoherent words to himself. Taehyung was struggling to hold him correctly because of his arm. Yoongi pushed past his husband and cautiously approached the duo on the bed.

"What happened?" Yoongi asked softly, trying not to startle the shaking toddler.

"He woke up and didn't see Appa and Dad, so he flipped out. I tried to calm him down but he won't stop crying," Taehyung frowned as he looked down at his little brother.
