Chapter 48 - Family Ties

"You're mother and Father did this to you?" Shizune's face lights up with shock and disbelief.  "H-how, I thought they were both dead?"

"So was Asuma." You wince as she continues to stitch you up. "They were reanimated too."

Eight Hours Earlier

"Sir, don't think we should report back to division commander Darui?"

I stare down the cliff at a small army of White Zetsu, trying to climb up the rocky surface to get to my squad and I.

"Sir?" The sand ninja tried to get my attention. "Sir Darui should really know about what's going on he..."

"Yes go report to him, you three stone ninja accompany him."

"Yes sir." The four ninja run off.

"Sir what are we going to do about them?" A Hidden Mist ninja walks up next to me.

"Run?" A cloud ninja suggests.

"I don't know about you cloud and mist ninja, but us leaf ninja never run from a fight."

"Our squad was already small, and now were only four man strong counting the captain, were we only supposed to be a scouting group." The cloud ninja said. "Why would we fight these things, it's a suicide mission."

"Quit complaining." I kick a rock down the cliff, hitting one in its eye, knocking it to the ground. "Rather you like it or not, we can't let this group join any of the Zetsu that are already out there."

"Are you really saying we have to fight all of those?" He complained again.

"That's exactly what I'm saying." I turn around. "If you don't like it you should have just stayed ho..."

"I'll kill you before I let you sacrifice us like pawns in some sick board game!" The cloud ninja puts his sword against my neck and pushes me back to the edge of the cliff.

"Get your hands off of the Hokage!" The leaf ninja yells.

"Sutsuki!" The mist ninja yells as she tries to pull him off of me.

"Get off of me Amigiri!" Sutsuki smacks her, knocking her to the ground.

"I've had enough of this." I grab him, and flip him over, throwing him over the cliff, but keep ahold of him so does fall yet. "Ebiza, check on the girl."

"Yes Lord Hokage."

"We are in the middle of a war, you can't lose you cool when ever you want, no matter how stressful or dire the situation is." I pull him up. "What would the Raikage say if he saw that, I doubt he would have as nice."

"Thank you for not dropout him, Captain." Amigiri bows her head.

"Next time you step out of line, I won't be so nice."

"Don't worry about a next time." A hand pierces through Sutsuki's chest. "Because there won't be."

"I'm sorry about this..." I hear a loud crack.

"Ebiza!" Amigiri yells as his body hits the ground.

"Amigiri stay back!" I grab her arm, and pull her towards me as three shadowy figures walk out of the tree line. A sense of dread over comes my body as I see the three walks towards us.

"(Y/n)..."

"Mom..."

"Please (y/n) stop us..."

"Dad..."

"We've killed so many ninja."

"Son, you have to stop us."

"Would you two stop complaining so much." A girl roughly the same age as me walks between them. "My whole clan was killed and you don't here me complaining."

"No... it can't be you..."
