Chapter 53 - War Never Changes Pt. 3

"Who's Maria?" Tenten questions.

"That would be me." Two red orbs make their way out of the shadows. Revealing Maria, who is holding a sword similar to the one I used to use. "Tayuya, Jirōbō, handle what you were resurrected for. I can handle (y/n), and his two whores."

"What did you call us!" Tenten and Ino shout, as Tenten pulls out her scroll and Ino grabs her kunai.

"Maria stop this, please?" I begged.

"You had your chance to join me, now you, and everyone else can die." She weaves two hand seals, and places her hands in front of her mouth as she inhales.

"Not happening!" Tenten slings her scroll open and a barrage of Kunai and shuriken bombard Maria. I notice a specific kunai come out of the scroll last and ready a Rasengan, as I teleport to it. Almost instantaneous I grab the kunai, and try to slam my Rasengan into her, but I completely freeze, and everything goes dark.

Ino's pov

(Y/n) teleports to a raijin kunai, and almost as soon as he lands his body freezes in place. (Y/n)... my thought was cut off by the sound of Maria screaming as blood flowed like streams from both of her eyes. "Maria? What did you do to (y/n)?"

After a few seconds of screaming she turns back towards Tenten and I, and she wipes the blood away from he still closed eyes. "I've trapped him for eternity. He's going to feel the same pain I felt every day for the past ten years." She laughs. "Ten years of suffering, all for this moment. All for my chance at vengeance."

"(Y/n), didn't do anything to you, he loved you, why would you want vengeance on him."

"Because Ino, I should have died that night, I should have died right after I kissed him... but I didn't, three days later I woke up in a cold, dark, wet cave... but I wasn't alone... a man was there with me... the man who saved me. He didn't save me out of the goodness of his heart, no he had malicious intent. He told me I was going to his puppet, his new play thing, to breed hatred. He was going to use me to breed a dark, festering hatred in (y/n). For ten years I was subjected to experiment after experiment, forced to fight other failed experiments or other kidnapped nobodies, an order to survive. For ten years I lived hell on earth, all so (y/n) could become stronger."

"S-shut up!" Tenten yells. "None of that was (y/n)'s fault, I'm sure, no, I know, If (y/n) knew you were alive he would've bulldozed mountains looking for." Tenten clenches her fist. "So don't blame (y/n) for the actions of some crazed lunatic."

"She's right Maria, if (y/n) would have known you were still alive, he wouldn't have stopped looking for you until he found you."

"And what makes you so sure about that Ino?"

"After losing you, he changed, he became angry... he vowed vengeance upon Itachi for kill you. After losing you, he grew cold and distant from everyone, to him, it wasn't just you that died that night, apart of him died to. That's how I know he would have searched for you, and that's also how I know he would have found."

She stays silent, almost like she's rethinking everything, but after a few sexy she begins laughing. "He swore vengeance upon Itachi, and that's how you know..." she laughs even more. "Stop it you're killing me... Let me ask you this Ino, Other girl, which ever one of you knows the answer, did (y/n) ever kill Itachi... no he didn't, so did he ever really get vengeance for my death, or did he just forget about me and move on with his life. I spent ten years beginning tormented and tortured, hoping that someday, (y/n), the boy I loved would come rescue me... but that never happened inside he's playing who's going to be best wife with two inferior replacements for me."
