~ Patching Things Up ~

Amari bought all she needed to buy and decided to take the scenic route home. Which is why she is walking around the Tatooin Shopping District in order to kill some time. She was walking by an alleyway when she heard a familiar voice. She looked and saw Katsuki and his friends walking towards her direction, so she quickly hid behind a wall. Remembering what happened earlier, Amari was about to walk away until a familiar bottle flew passed her and was opened when it hit a pole. Amari dropped her bags as she looked up in fear as the slime villain grew in size before looking down at her with familiarity in its eyes.

[Some time earlier]
Katsuki and his friends were walking down an alleyway after leaving the convenience store as Katsuki drank his canned beverage. His friends started talking about what happened earlier at school, much to Katsuki's annoyance. He couldn't get that look Amari gave him before they left.

"Weren't you and Midoriya good friends when you were kids?"

"Yeah, you were a little harsh with him today. And that little cutie from the class next to ours, Hikawa right? She's usually seen with Midoriya. I remember in the beginning of the school year she followed him like a lost puppy, always clinging to him or holding his hand."

"It's his own fault for getting in my way." As he said that, Katsuki kicked a plastic bottle on the ground in front of him, sending it out of the alleyway. "Someone's gotta teach that worthless nerd a lesson on how the world really works. Also," Katsuki turned to face the guy who just spoke. "watch what you say about Amari, or else." To add emphasis, Katsuki used his quirk to blow up the can before tossing it to the ground. "Not sure why she hangs around with that loser."

"Ah...right." Not wanting to get on Katsuki's nerves, they decided not to talk further about Amari. "Hey, I got an idea. We should go to the arcade. Get your mind off it, ya know?"

"Or we can sneak into the bar at the station. Pick up some ladies? Now that's a good idea."

"Idiots! If we get caught, there's no way UA would let me in! Let's just go to the arcade." Katsuki turned around and started walking out of the alleyway with his friends behind him. 'I need to go to UA so I can become the number one hero. To be her hero.'

"AHHHHH!!!!! A monster!"

Katsuki looked ahead and saw Amari right outside of the alleyway he was in. But what caught his attention was the large slime villain trying to grab her with its slime tentacles but she keep flying to avoid it. Amari could've flown out of the villain's reach but she didn't want the villain to end up changing targets. All she can do at the moment is keep it occupied until a hero shows up. Every time the villain turn its attention on a random civilian, she throws a ball of aura to get its attention. But her focus was moved away from the villain when she heard a scream and saw a part of a building about to fall onto a civilian. She quickly created a flat surface made of aura above the civilian that stopped the building piece so they can ran to safety. With her focus elsewhere, the slime villain took advantage and grabbed Amari. As the slime villain was bringing Amari back towards it, the slime tentacle surrounding her was suddenly destroyed by an explosion.

"Katsu-kun!"

Turns out Katsuki ran in and used his quirk to destroy the slime around Amari but ended getting captured in the process. Amari was about to go try to save him, but she's having a hard time avoiding the villain's attacks at the same time. She was able to dodge most of the attacks until she barely saw the one coming from above her. She quickly formed a barrier around her as the villain continuously slamming its slime tentacles against it. Amari concentrated on keeping her barrier from shattering but she knows she can't keep it up for long as cracks started to form from the impacts.
