Chapter 13 the incident

Polly and Charles went to visit Alice with the twins because its been two months since they last visited so they wanted to try again. All good so far but Polly asked where betty was and why she wasn't home and Alice was telling her she moved out apparently but she knows she will come and Charles wasn't paying attention because he was playing with Juniper and Dagwood. She called Betty multiple of times but she wouldn't answer so she called FP but still no answer she even sent a spam load of messages but there was no reply. It has been a few hours since they tried to reach out to Betty and Charles told Polly to leave it and carried on to play with Juniper and Dagwood. Alice was on the sofa tired and had a nap and Polly was cleaning for her mom and cooking food while Charles put the twins to sleep.

Hal came home to see Polly and Charles getting ready to go with the babies but he didn't let them by he pushed Polly back and she fell and hit her head and he hit Charles in the face the babies were in the dining room and Alice woke up to see blood everywhere and she tried to stop Hal but wasn't strong enough and was screaming to leave the babies Juniper and Dagwood alone and Polly was bleeding on her lip side of her cheek and a slit of blood on her eyebrow. "HAL LEAVE THE BABIES ALONE AND LEAVE POLLY AND CHARLES OR I WILL KICK YOU OUT AGAIN!" "SHUT IT ALICE THESE TWO NEED A PUNISHMENT FOR RUNNING AWAY FROM US AND I WONT STOP UNTIL THEY KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE LOOSING TWO KIDS!" "DAD NO NOT THE TWINS! *Hal kicks Polly back onto the floor and Charles runs over to Archies to get them to call Betty Jughead and FP. Alice was throwing vases at Hal to distract him while Polly grabbed the pushchair with the babies in and the bags and ran out the door* CHARLES COME ON! MOM I LOVE YOU IM SORRY!" "POLLY GO GET SAFE!" "WHY DID YOU DO THAT ALICE! I WAS ENJOYING SEEING THEM SUFFER!"

Polly and Charles got to Pops and that was when Betty Jughead and JB helped them and healed the cuts and wiped all the blood away. As soon as Polly told Betty what happened she broke down into tears and Jughead held her close as she cried her eyes and knew what she had to do which was going to break Jughead it was to face Hal and defeat him before he hurts another family member but right now she was worried about FP because he still hasn't called or text Jughead for where he is. The food came but Betty didn't eat she ran to the toilets and threw up crying and Polly ran after her hugging her telling Betty she her brother and the babies are ok but Betty payed no attention and just cried because she has held in so much and been wanting to let it out but couldn't but now she can finally rant it out and cry it out. Jughead was there too hugging and holding Betty as she just broke into tears it was hurting Jughead to see her like this and a shed of a tear fell down his face and it was hard for him to see her like this. Polly came back with a cup of water for Betty to drink to slow the tears down but she screamed into Jugheads chest and he felt her pain like it was a stab going through both of them. "WHY DAD WHY! *screams that into Jugheads chest on the floor*" "Betts sshh its ok we will get him for this believe me...im gonna get the serpents to fight him for you sshh its ok Betts" "Betty im ok just hurts abit and just like what Jughead said we will get revenge"

After an hour or two in the toilets at Pops crying they came back out and Betty was shaking and her mascara was running down her cheeks and each time she thought about what Hal did it brought tears to her eyes again and JB gave her a hug the five of them stood up and gave betty a big hug and Arlo was worried so he has rubbing his head next to JB to join the hug she picked him up and jumped to give Betty a hug. "Im fine...i mean it l-lets go and find F-FP Jug..." "Betts no go home with JB please your not gonna be outside where Hal is out for yours the twins Polly and Charles blood...please Betts or go to Tonis at least just text her if you are gonna" Betty nodded and hugged Jughead like it was the last time that they would see each other. Polly was helping Charles because he had a lot of damage done to his body and he was really weak.

Betty got back to Jugheads trailer safe with Arlo and JB soaking wet from the storm and was putting JB to bed while she stays up reading her book at the table in the kitchen. Jughead came back in the house with FP behind him drunk and he wasnt happy with his dad because he got drunk at the Whyte Wyrm. Betty helped put him to bed and stayed up talking to Jughead about what they gotta do about Hal and what the serpents are gonna do. "Jug my dad won't stop until I'm home but look after Arlo for me because he will kill him" "Betts no I can't let you go" "if you love me you will" " *stays silent then pulls Betty into a kiss and hugs her* I love you too Betts...go get your clothes and bag leave Arlo here" Betty packed her bag and told Arlo and kissed Jughead bye and left to go and stay at home.
